It's always nice to know that you're coughing and sneezing because you are constantly inhaling plant sperm...
Also it seems I'm allergic to chestnut sperm..

I have to say, knowing about room tone now does drastically increase my opinion of that video.

Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
It seems I asked some good questions, it took something like 10 minutes to answer mine.
Fun to hear you talking about Formula 1 and Jer trying to work out how KERS works. Not quite like he explained but really fun to listen to.
Also, they only have 8 engines for a season, which is 20 races. But yeah, they go through parts like crazy.

I man-squee'd at my questions being answered.
Internally, of course. Internally.

Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
I first realized I was "old" the day I got a letter in the mail informing me that my health insurance had been extended for three months and it was the most exciting thing that had happened to me in weeks.
I'm not ready to be an adult yet. I just want to play with LEGO all day, watch LRR in the affernoon, and then hang out with my friends and maybe watch a movie in the evening. What is this crap about car payments and insurance? Who signed me up to have to pay taxes? Student loans? You mean they want that money BACK!? Groceries? You gotta pay for that stuff now?
I have everything I ever wanted when I was eight. And I'm so totally disillusioned. As it turns out, with great freedom comes even greater expense,

I'm pretty sure it was this podcast where Graham mentioned he listened to mashups (I can't really remember; I watched both on Monday), but if it was:
Hey Graham, have you heard of "The Hood Internet"? They do mashups. A bunch of mashups.

would it not be smart to make 2 asklrr treats, one you will go true first for questions about the recent videos and one you will go throe after with all other questions

I have to agree with Paul about hating The Office. Also while I don't love Coldplay, I don't dislike them with the fervor that everyone else seems to.
PS - This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated.

Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
I consider myself to be old very often, but because I'm 5'1" I doubt there is a stranger alive that will wander down the street and think I look like an adult.
For example: I predate both Wikipedia and Google, my first Internet provider was AOL, and my earliest memory of a modem includes it making angry noises at you whenever you tried to use it.
In regards to revived series, it's a 90s one but I'd love to see Bots Master revived, along with Animaniacs.

Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
When you thinke about it, a CD of 'room tone' could actually have its uses. A synthesized voice, for instance, could get a more 'real' sound by making it seeme that the voice was actually recorded live.
Out of curiosity, is there going to be a forum created for Things My Cat Hates? Or is the fact it's a blog and can get comments itself sufficient?

Thank you for calling tech support, how can I be the outlet of your misplaced frustrations today?

YES
You have to love any show with characters named Genesix or Ninjzz.
I first felt really old when, at an Anime Evolution, I met someone who had never heard of an anime that I used to watch on TV in highschool, which makes it about as mainstream as anime can possibly get. It wasn't obscure or anything either, it was a Gundam series. I felt better later when me and another guy recited the Samurai Pizza Cats Fan Club Oath together.
Re: LRRcast for Interrupted Garage
In response to the Nerd Deadly Sin: I've never watched any of the Star Wars movies. I've tried to watch the first one (as in Episode 4) and it was phenomenally boring. I couldn't even force myself to sit through it.
Come to think of it, I didn't enjoy the Scott Pilgrim live action movie either.

"Flat beer or a lumpy mattress. Take your pick."
"I'd prefer a flat mattress."
"Hmm.. Well, it could be done.. If I take the lumps out of the mattress, and put them in the beer, you'd have a flat mattress and a lumpy beer!"
