Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
How many people have prefaced their questions with some comment about finally catching the thread after so long, as though this is somehow an achievement?
--
I know you don't generally talk shop like this on the podcast, but what are your views on the way the Canada Post strike was resolved and what kind of precedent this sets for the Canadian postal service, the CUPW and Canadian trade unions generally.
--
CM Punk versus John Cena at Money in the Bank, your thoughts on the runup, the match and the aftermath so far? How worked do you think those shoot promos were?
--
(Job Security) Where'd you get the World's Best Evil Boss mug?
--
(Smile) How did Karen Walnut replaced Steve Clark as A9's field reporter?

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Oh, oh! I have a few!
Kathleen, I'm loving Things My Cat Hates. There's no question here, I just wanted to say that I like it.
Video questions; Job Security had a pretty quick turn around from being posted on the forum to being made, is this the normal speed or was because this was a forum script?
Feed Dump; I think I've asked before, but I can't remember, is it only going to be crew, or can we hope to see Kate and the other Phail regulars?
And one silly one; if they were going to make LRR the Movie; who would you like to play the crew, but who would. actually play you?
Thanks!

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
I've heard Graham and Kathleen are planning a trip to England - have they contacted the owner of this hat about a feed dump "...but they don't have this hat" cameo yet? If not, are they at least planning on taking an empty suitcase to stock up on (replica?) crazy hats?
Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Dear Kathleen,
When Graham reads a dear kathleen post, have you noticed the voice he puts on?
Dear Graham,
Why do you put on this voice?
Dear Matt,
You are wrong, this game is awesome
Dear Alex, Will we get AAAL or ItM (or something similar) back anytime soon? Additionally what is Exim Works?
Dear Paul,
Why is things on my head so popular?
Dear James and Jer,
I can't think of a question to ask you two, can I have a wave?
EDIT: Dear Crew,
are Checkpoints an actual thing now? and how would one earn them?

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
In one phailhaus episode Graham said he would have to do an all pic of the day episode. Considering most if not all the funny news will be used on feed dump, is there any chance you make that video soon?
Are you or will you at some point buy hats specifically to be used in feed dump?
I think one reason asklrr becomes so long even though the thread is up so shortly is because people save their questions for the next time they catch the thread in time, have you considered making a rule with just one question per user?
Lastly a riddle. Jimmy the Kid rides into a town on Friday on Friday. Five days and six hours later he rides into the same town on Friday on Friday. How can this be.
(answer: During those five days and six hours he travels with 50 percent of the speed of light on a magical unicorn named Friday.

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
What were your expectations of Transformers 3? Did it meet them?
--
The consensus within my circle is that Duke Nukem Forever is okay (not great but not terrible either) provided you ignore the fact that it took fourteen years to make. Would you agree? Is it even possible to assess a game while ignoring that kind of history?
--
Opinions on Radiohead's King of Limbs album? Anyone heard Radiohead's Supercollider/The Butcher single?
--
Given that you do a Canada Day video every year, and the presence of a proud Kiwi on the crew, have you ever considered doing a Waitangi Day video? If nothing, I'd wanna see Kathleen leading the crew through a LRR haka.
--
A number of recent sketches (Smile and Canadian Girlfriend for example) have felt reminiscent of the 'playing yourselves' style that was so prevalent during the earlier years. How directly do you think you could do those types of sketches now, especially given the way Hustle codified that whole approach?

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Just a few questions for your time...
now that a large number of fans, as well as most of you guys (if not all of you) are on google+, have you thought of using the hangout feature for events? magic tournaments live lrrcasts, and bringing back inside the moonbase (which Tim did) are the only ideas that come to mind right now.
with lulzsec back to their nefarious deeds, what would you do if the site became a target of theirs and was brought down?
What do you think of the idea that capcom is killing off megaman?
lastly, if James randomly vanished, who would put up the askLRR thread?

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Do any of you have a signature Magic card, by which I mean a card that fans ask you to sign? I assume I'm not the only person to ask Kathleen to sign a Steppe Lynx, but have other crew members been asked to sign cards?

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Hey everybody! Hope everyone's doing well.
Video question: you just put up a Checkpoint Rejected video where someone threw Graham a bouquet of flowers. Besides the fact both his and Kathleen's reactions were hilarious... what's the story there?
Non-video question: It's 105 degrees here in Philly, so I'm making smoothies. What's everyone's favorite fruit?

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
How directly is CheckPoint intended to replace ENN?
How directly is Feed Dump intended to replace the Phailhaus?
How directly was the Phailhaus intended to replace The Whatever Thing?
--
Given that Graham and Paul undoubtedly don't have the time for full SA style Let's Plays, how differently will they go about the next GPLP?
--
(Room Tone)
Can we expect more comedian's comedy and process comedy in future videos?
Would a gratuitous John Cage reference have been too obscure?
--
(Daily Drop: Behind the Scenes) Do you think you undersold just how vile the contents of the shopvac were?
--
(Iron Stomach Challenge: Durian) Who is Ben menacing with a slice of Durian at the end of this video?

Not really a question, but I was hoping you could give a shoutout to the fan-operated Minecraft and Team Fortress 2 servers. Information can be found in the gaming forum and at lrrcraft.com.
Thanks!

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Do you have any idea how hard it is to actually catch one of these threads while it's open? Jesus Christ...
Right, questions:
~V
Right, questions:
- Now that Bradley Rains helps you out on a regular basis with music have you given any thought to bringing back 64K sometime in the future?
- On a semi-related note, has there been any plans for revisiting old characters like Story Guy, the Warriors of Darkness, Evil Inc, Canada Man, and so on?
- Now that LeeLee lives in Vancouver and the crew sees her on a semi-regular basis, is there any chance of her having a speaking part in any videos? (that cameo at the end of "Room Tone" doesn't count)
- This one is for Graham and Paul; what are you thoughts on auctioning off for Desert Bus the opportunity to LP a co-op game with you two over LIVE or some such for an episode of GPLP?
- Is Brad anywhere close to coming back from Britain in, say, the next year or so?
- Kathleen, what gave you the idea for Things My Cat Hates and did you consider trying to start Korea back up before doing that instead?
- Have you guys managed to, as of this question, avoid talking about Magic:The Gathering in any way, shape or form? If the answer is "yes" everyone gets a cookie (redeemable at a later date when and if we actually meet face-to-face, which is to say probably never).

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Given the nature of the Desert Bus donation curve, do you believe there is a hard time limit to each run? My recollection is that the curve is essentially a straight vertical line by some point on Friday.

Have any of the Fallout Boys played Van Buren? To those who've played both, how faithful is New Vegas to Van Buren?
--
Have those who've visited the Plain of the Six Glaciers tea house also visited the Lake Agnes tea house? I managed to confuse the two when looking up the former after hearing about the walk there from Chateau Lake Louise in a previous LRRcast.

Re: AskLRR - Closes when I say so
Graham, what's the best way to learn The Elements by Tom Lehrer?
You are called up by a production agency that's seen the website and they want you on one of their shows. The choice is:
a) Spend a day with the cast Top Gear and perform a challenge with them, that challenge being 'Which car is best to protect you from a pool of acid and angry termites'
b) Or appear on the Family Learning Channel favourite Angry Ticks Fire out of My Nipples.
Who would win in a fight between your hatred for 'who would win in a fight' questions and a 'who would win in a fight' question.
