Ah,the literal trailers. The less said about those the better, my freind/internet acquaintance (whichever floats you're boat). Do not pass judgment on which is strangest until you subject yourself to the DNF playthrough, and for god's sake don't do that. Him and Duke Nukem is a lethal dose of annoying that might make you want to commit suicide.

Hello

What is the letters/Signs that Cam talks about at 1:13:35 and 1:15:50?

Fun fact: Page 2 of the images for "ae latin" was a naked woman. Why? It's Google Image Search.

Ash. From the Old Latin æsh (aesh), meaning "ash tree".

So what would be the pro league? Arabic or Japanese characters?

Definitely Japanese. Katakana is Pro entry level. Hiragana is Pro standard. And the full set of 1006 Kanji taught to school children would be the "Masters".

No, that's just dragging your butt along a bumpy floor. Sorry.

Hieroglyphics are God tier.

I think readable braille would be an accomplishment. Also, this LRRcast had the same length as the Yale Civil War Lecture I had queued up to listen to. Coincidence?

/yes

So when I try to Dl the podcast and save it on my computer (so that I can transfear it over to my mp3 player), it will only save the file as a MP4 Video file (always called "Potatono-OOPViews677" no matter which podcast I'm trying to DL). This is something new, since before the last podcast I could dl everything as a mp3 file without a problem.

So far all my attempts of working around this has failed since the file it saves is only like 35kb. I can still listen to the podcast in my browser, but I can't seem to save it. Anyone got any clues as to why?

What link are you using? There's a dedicated MP3 link on the front page which I used to download the MP3 no problem.

I've always opened the podcast popup, and used "save target as" on the Download button. That has always worked in the past.

If I just click the DL button it opens up in WMP, and thats how it has always been.

Just done a google search. Looks like the same problem is happening to other people. Is this what you get?

What happens if you try another browser or copy the link directly into the address bar?

Love these podcasts, they really make my long commute enjoyable. I did have a hard time hearing Cam from time to time. Perhaps the most soft spoken guy should not be as far from the mic. Poor guy didn't even get a spot on the couch (as was already mentioned in this thread). Granted, that stereo mic forced Cam's voice to my left speakers and they could be the problem.

@Smeghead: Have you tried saving the file in WMP? That's how I used to do it.

iTunes didn't have a problem downloading it through my podcast subscription. I haven't downloaded them for some time.

Thanks for telling me the letters/Signs that they talked about English isn't my first language so sometime it is hard to figure out the spelling of strange words when I try to google the signs.

I am still wondering abut the sign he talks about some minutes later at 1:15:50 in the video (1:28:25 in the downloaded mp3 file) when they talks about the site design and the logo.

P.S. The best Unicode LRR logo’s I could find

Why is the video upscaled? really? Almost 800MB for low quality video with a high quality overlay? Blargh. Please don't do that next time. Thx.

Edit: Tone of voice: Silly with a hint of frustration.

We were toying with HD LRRcasts.

The two issues being:
1) While the file and overlay we HD, the computer clearly wasn't receiving the camera's HD feed properly.

2) The file is huge.

So... not a failed experiment, but not a success either.
