Ok, so Graham, Kathleen and James aren't available for a podcast this weekend. But how about the B-team? Could it be possible for you, Paul, to get some of the occasional crew together and do a podcast with them? I bet that would be a lot of fun to watch. (Or another Ask Paul :D)

I like the idea of a Bee team podcast, or just Ask Paul, maybe that should be the 4th podcast - get a bunch of less prominent crew members in to come in and do an askLRR

Now, I'm imagining a really boring show: "Ask Things on Paul's Head" where Paul balances things on his head, and people send in questions to those things. Of course, those things don't answer, because they're things, and can't talk. :D

So shorter podcasts is all well and good, WHEN THEY GO UP MORE FREQUENTLY.

Valve had this problem with episodic games.

I know some people really wish for the long-running plots, but one form of continuity which wouldn't bog down the casual viewer is the kind you guys did fairly often pre-Hustle. For instance, Graham talking about Matt's toothpaste at the end of Bagel Time.

Also, Kathleen at the end reminded me of a really excited Solid Snake. Imagine if you will:

Graham: "...and the Loading Ready Run booth in Bandland"
Snake: "Bandland?!?"

To paraphrase Steven Dengler: If you grow up, you're doing it wrong. ;)

To answer your confusion from the beginning on what "Gesundheit" means: "health". Basically, short for "I wish you health". But there're also phrases similar to "bless you" in German, just less common or used in more Christian areas.

I don't know about other parts of the world, but in all the places in Canada I've lived "Gesundheit" has always been a fairly common phrase. Canada has had a lot of German immigrants over the years, so it's just entered the local lexicon, I guess.

Also, is Kathleen contractually obligated to be as annoying as possible? I stopped listening somewhere towards the end of the PAX preview segment with her incessant high-pitched repetitions.

I am also Canadian and I grew up saying "Gesundheit" even over Bless You or even "à tes souhaits" which is the french equivalent. Even though I do have some Austrian ancestry, it is not necessary to say it or to have it come up with Canadians ;)

The origin of saying "Gesundheit", btw, is that sneezing was thought to be a symptom of having the plague. I'm considering saying "please God don't have the black death" instead of "Gesundheit" in the future. :)

In Denmark we say Prosit which comes from the latin for "May it help" so that I also thinks comes from the Plague era
