December 8th - Coming Soon!

Postby James » 14 Dec 2006, 18:48

Sorry folks, there was an upload issue, but it's coming, and it's long enough to make up for last week's lack of one.

Problem fixed, and it'll be up later tonight. Sorry folks.

Just in time for me to NOT listen to it because I have an exam tomorrow that I know nothing for >_<

Just kidding. I'll listen to it anyway.

It's nearly 11:00 PM for me. I likely won't be able to listen to it tonight, and there won't be enough time to listen to it in the morning. Maybe when I get home from work.

OK, so you finally made me listen to a whole podcast... and stay up until 1 am doing so. Normally I don't have an hour to sit listening to the podcasts (sometimes I listen to a few minutes of them) but this time I wanted to hear the answers to the questions.

Other than some rather long-winded answers, I enjoyed it. I think after just one podcast I know more about the LRR crew than I ever imagined.

Do you ever think it's weird that random people around the world know a lot about you? And you might know nothing about them? That would kind of weird me out....

AskLRR was alright (as a title) but if I may offer a few alternatives:

AWE-LRR - Ask WhatEver - LRR
AYEWTKALRR - All You Ever Wanted To Know About LRR
and the best...
DAWDLRR - Demand Answers With Droll LRR

Oh and for the record, The Dig is an awesome awesome game. I'd play it again if I thought it would run on my computer. Or if you want something a little newer, try The Longest Journey. Really really good.

My life seems drab and wretched in comparison, to yours.

The Dig is freaking awesome. PLAY IT.

And I'm at the forum rather frequently.

Can't think of anything more to say...

Hooray for Psychology!

I know we can blame Morgan for The Whatever Thing - but Morgan is a Psychology major, so he knows about Skinnerian conditioning. And evil.

You know, if you're going to be the grammar nazi, you should at least get angry when people say "anyways" instead of "anyway." Because "anyways" is wrong.

Grrrrr.

Technically, Paul needs to be closer to the mic. When we have actual podcasting equipment, we'll get back to you.

We'll be expecting you to get back to us with another podcast before you get the equipment thank you very much.

There are some skilled professionals who can help you at FSTI.

Serious thought: doesn't Jester J live in Seattle, which is fairly close to the Canadian border? Why can't LRR order a boom mike, have it shipped to Jester J, then pick it up from him or have him bring it across the border?

Also: the underground future monsters are 'Morlocks'.

Also also: shed-dule. Hee!

Great job on the LRRCast this week, guys!
Thanks for ditching the "what we're playing now" feature -everyone trying to talk at once got a bit grating. I like the Q & A feature MUCH better.

Seattle may look close but it requires two hours to drive to the boarder, 30 minutes or more at the border, 30 minutes to the ferries, likely an hour waiting at the ferries, hour and a half ferry ride and a half hour drive from the ferries into Victoria. Speeding, traffic or elevated terror warnings will effect the time.

SO, a month late, I just got around to listening to it.
My question didn't get answered. Blast! :P
Middle names that start with "J" are the best. The best names are "Jay". Like mine.

As to shipping to Seattle..well...I'm not quite sure my parents would be "cool" with them being shipped a mic from some random people I "met" on the internet and that I have to forward to them/drive/have picked up. That, and, I doubt Graham/Paul would go and pay for a really nice mic and have it shipped to a random person.
Good idea though :P

Yay for LRRcasts!
