THE THREAD FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE NEW ASK LRR QUESTION THREAD

Postby James » 18 Sep 2007, 09:33

So heres the deal guys. After 9 months of Podcasting we have finally finished up with the orginal ASKLRR question thread. So its time for a new one.

This time I am actually going to be DELETING posts that aren't questions, decent questions at that. So be smart and think of something mildly intellegent to ask us!

What was the gun-like object that was confiscated from Graham when coming back into Canada? Why was it confiscated? Did he get it back?

I am not sure if this was asked so I will also add a safety question.

What is your favorite color?

SAFETY QUESTION: What is the one food that you know you could win a competitive eating contest of? (eg. Hot dogs, pies, watermelons, etc.)

When are you guys going to get to work on the cocktail trivia contest?

Have you guys heard anything from Bill? I think the forum is starting to miss him... I know I do.

This might be a silly question, but by what means did you get the LRR logo and www.loadingreadyrun.com put on the LRRBus? They don't look like decals and seem way too nice to just be spraypainted stencils.

1) How much editing do you guys do to the podcasts/ is the timecode accurate? I can't imagine so many podcasts just "work out to be" such nice even numbers.

Ex) From "A Part of Our Heritage" all the way to "The Secret Life of Toast" all the podcasts end on the minute mark

2) What Starcraft race do you play best? (or played, we all did at some point)

They think of you feeding with Bal. Feeding is never funny.

Also, a (sort of) real question: Any of you going to play/are playing Team Fortress 2? World in Conflict? They are both VERY Awesome games and would recommend getting the demo for Word in Conflict and trying it out, it's an RTS without the base-building at the beginning. A lot of fun.

***The rest is long, no reason to read if you aren't interested in TF2***

TF2...well, if you played TFC you know what it's like, and if you liked that, BUY THIS. You can get the beta for it now (for the next month or so) if you pre-order the Orange Box from Steam. Or you could just wait for retail. The Orange Box = HL2, Episodes 1 and 2, Portal, and the TF2 beta. Very good if you don't already own HL2. If you do...just wait for TF2 to come out in retail.

Phew, sorry, very long and almost unneeded.

Assuming Jer does have latent homosexuality, would he go out with me if I covered dinner and the movie?

If you could sit down to dinner with any one director and get the chance to chat with them about their work, who would it be?

Ditto with one actor, and with one writer.

Are any of you particularly handy?

Have any of your shorts required any kind of set or set-piece to have been built by hand, and are there any videos you haven't done due to a requirement in set construction or design?

Is graham at all excited for Crisis Core:FF7 and if a remake of FF7 was made on PS3 with expanded story( I E putting in all the weapons and adding more stuff in the end.) Would you buy it?

Edit: After hearing in the last podcast that Graham no longer has his PSP, I'd like to know what his thoughts are on the concept of a prequel featuring Zack. And the PS3 remake question stays the same.

A Gift for LRR?

Postby opalsky » 20 Sep 2007, 03:55

Say a rich benefactor sees your videos and likes your work so much that he wants to help you out. He offers to make a gift of whatever it is you want or need the most. What would you choose? A piece of equipment? Cash? (If cash, how would you use it?)

Sorry, I'm not the rich benefactor, but if I win the lottery... :D

It was already answered.

What colors do you like the most. (it doesn't say favorite)

Also, in the event Bill doesn't return from fighting ninjas, will you tell us his first name as something to remember him by?

What do you take into account when deciding what new video games to buy?

Did Matt get Morgan off... on that fine he got while riding his bike?

I listened to todays podcast and started wondering what it would be like if Morgan was ever elected. Then I realised that no party would nominate him. Would Loading Ready Run start the Loading Ready Run Party of Canada just to increase trafic and get Morgan elected, similar to Labatt's Parti Bleu, which ran Johnothan Bleue in Quebec during the 2004 election :?:

Which would you choose to accompany you to a party:

Sting (the famed elven blade that glows to warn of approaching orcs) or Sting (the famed musician formerly of 'The Police')?
