Emma's is really cool and more technically what they are looking for. But Sable's is REALLY awesome, just not a LRR-themed pumpkin.

True. It's more an LRR-themed scene that heavily incorporates pumpkins.

Why not at least second carve a second LRR pumpkin? That would both be better and worse for getting people to join second life.

I too am lacking in a camera at the moment and I got my Phone for its price, durability, and good reception. (I know this mostly depends on the provider, but other phones of this provider aren't as good as this one.) I do have friends with them though, both with phones and camera phones. However I am currently in a college dorm and way too busy to be buying/carving pumpkins. I had to work on two papers this weekend, two!

(One I finished completely in a couple of hours but that''s beside the point.)

However like I said earlier my idea still stands for whoever tries it, but instead of going for specific people I'll just tell you all about it and hope that if one of you does it that you'll give me half of your forum rank.

The idea is this:

Simply three pumpkins, each carved with S3 or PS3, and then a parody of the 3 PS3s video. Of course the minimum of actual pumpkins would be two, the other could just be a cardboard cut out of a pumpkin.

If this had been announced in detail the previous weekend, I could have actually done this. However, I do agree, there was ample time to buy then carve a pumpkin and take a picture and submit it, if you did not have prior commitments or any technological/financial difficulties.

I don't think they said you specifically had to do something from a video, did they? They just said "LRR Themed?" Who knows.

Okay, so Graham asked me to take a picture of my pumpkin lit, so here it is!

There were a few breaks (since it was so thin) and they sort of curled a bit so it doesn't really read properly any more, but I tried. It is also lit by my desk-lamp sitting in a hole in the back of the pumpkin in my bathroom because it is day time, and I had neither a candle nor a flashlight. AWESOME.

I think the judging of the pumpkins should happen in an American Idol style, with one or two people just being totally critical of everything, including the way in which the pumpkin was photographed.

That sounds like a lot of work for some reason, even though it probably wouldn't be.

what

no

I AM WHINING ABOUT THIS

THEY SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO WIN

THEY SHOULD HAVE JUST BUCKED UP AND DONE IT

Because it is totally lame if someone who now has a whole extra week (when technically we only had 5 days the first time) to make their pumpkin awesome wins when Sable and I worked SO HARD to make them awesome in the allotted time.

Guys you are all lame for being such whiners.

Emma, I don't actually expect that much more to come in, all things considered.

Besides, it's not because we don't think the entries so far are awesome.

In any case, we know who submitted before the extension. Oh, we know.
