I didn't think people would be so obsessive :O I mean, LRR is epic win and all, but dang.

And I'm sorry for reiterating this a second time and being a nub, but I really think it'd be an excellent idea for a "What pissed me off this week" segment for the LRRCast.

I am not sure if this would be a good or bad thing...on the one hand, hearing most of the LRR guys saying what's pissing them off would be good.
On the other hand....it would kinda extend the time to past 66 minutes wouldn't it? (Max recording time.)

My guess is that either the response, or the email(s) were sent in jest, but were misinterpreted (-pretted?) to be of a serious nature. That being said, I was introduced at somepoint in November while trying to work on a presentation, and have been since hooked like a porcupine's barb. All in all though, the questions in the askLRR thread will be answered, and if yours is unfortunately not answered this week, hopefully you'll forget about it, hear it answered later, go back to see who asked that awesome question, and realize it was you.

On a sliqhtly lighter note/more work for the crew

Just to check, would any of you actually be interested in seeing the "green screen version" of the video?
If so, I'll get it up early next week.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES

Oh, and by the way Graham, I didn't quite hear all of the bit about what pisses you off, you don't suppose you could re-post it again?

(In all seriousness, a Grind my Gears segment would be great)

I might have misinterpreted, but yeah. I got the usual "assclown, gay asshole" stuff. And not in my private messaging. In my E-mail. I received two or three e-mails threatening to do bad things to be ie. sever my genitals, rape me with a baseball bat, ect. Those seemed to be jokes.

I DO hope they were in jest, but a couple of them sounded quite serious. Not the rape ones, other ones. Someone was threatening to bomb everything I say, spam my inbox and get me pills for a bigger penis. Oops. That one was from Viagra.

Hopefully this will blow over with next week's podcast.

0.o whoever did this....NOT COOL GUYS. This is a SUREFIRE way to get "AskLRR" cancelled VERY quickly. Possibly the entire podcast, seriously dudes not cool. I suppose you wouldn't be willing to name names so we could publicly condemn them? :P (Yeah, I know all that jazz about two wrongs don't make a right.)

You're assuming that the claims aren't simply lies.

Is there any evidence that said emails exist?

You can choose whether or not to believe me. It doesn't matter. The e-mails are in the trash, and I really couldn't give two shits about them.

I would be interested in seeing the no effect version of High Noon.

PS

The counter for number of times the podcast has been listened too is not working. It says 0.

First, threatening emails aren't cool. So what if he asked 15 questions, it's no big deal, we don't know how many questions on average they answer so they could cut the AskLRR at any point.

Second, I think a green screen version of the video would be cool, especially if someone took it and sent you all another version, all green screen bits redone wiuth funny backgrounds.

Oh man, a Greenscreen contest (Similar to other ones [I'm thinking of the Colbert Report in particular]) would be awesome!

As....as long as people would actually do it.

Daaaamn, I REALLY need to think up of funny backgrounds because this is a PERFECT excuse to try out my green screen skills. (As in, learn how to do it with Premier. :P)

Edit: Oooh, please make it a challenge in the next podcast. ^.^

Take that down and double it.

Oxford, never set your E-mail to publicly viewable on a message board. Anyone who actually needs it can ask you for it.(Trust me, I learned the hard way.)

One thing is that not everyone is likely to have a movie editor they can greenscreen in.

I could probably get one if I tried hard enough... I had Premier on my waaay old computer.
