Podcast changes
Podcast changes
hey guys. I am currently on my way to Calgary so this is being posted on my iPhone with a crap tastic edge connection. Due to changes in the LRR crew schedule the podcasts will be updating on Saturdays from now on. So expect a LRRcast for "A little TOO human" Saturday night.

It's not because James can't edit them until Saturdays, it's because we've moved our meeting day from Monday to Saturday.
Instead of having a meeting on Monday night where we largely just talk, record the podcasts, and leave... we decided to make Saturday "LoadingReadyRun Day".
That way, we can meet in the mornings, discuss upcoming videos, record the podcast, and shoot, all in the same day. This is a lot better for us. The downside for you guys of course, is that the podcasts have to move to a Saturday update. I expect you'll get used to it.
i think they'll be recording the podcast for the video on saturday, after (maybe before?) they film it. So the podcast for monday's video will actually sit a whole week before being released.
If they do it so that they can respond to the whole week of fan talk, then awesome, though.

I wouldn't expect a guarantee, but does this mean that we may be getting other content during the week, ie blog postings, Phalhoisa (or however it's spelled), and other goodies with a little more frequency?
Or should the forums start contemplating more user-generated content, ie Loading Time, COmmunity Profile, DotA dates, chats, etc?

We already have been posting on the blog more, and it's likely that any behind-the-scenes blog posts or video (Loading Time) will happen mid-week.
THANKS!

QFT!
Consider this signature a museum piece, since I love it and am unlikely to change it ever.

Album Art
On a side note, the album art for the podcast seems to be broken...

Was that a Homestar Runner reference? Senor Cardgage may be my favourite character. After maybe Stinko Man.
Thanks for the update on the new scheduling. This is a decent way to set it up.

Considering they're having the meeting today, and it sounds like James will be editing + uploading right afterwards, and how when they did the challenges, they had to be in by 7:00 PST, I'm thinking it hasn't even been fully recorded yet. Be patient, although I'm assuming for a lot of people, it will be Sunday morning for them (or afternoon for our Australian overlords/viewers).

The podcast has been recorded and is being edited and will be up today or very early Sunday morning. It was a looong day. Don't worry!
