Listening now. Graham, don't stop posting the scripts, we love them, and they are useful. Besides, anybody who goes on the wiki knows enough about LRR to accept changes, impossibilities, and how you do the best you can, but some things just don't always work out.

probably because Graham or Paul or whoever is in charge of Site Layoutification hasnt told it to... look for it? *shrug*

I totally have no idea how websites work. I know they CAN be set up to update automatically, but dont know if LRR does. ^_^

Man, Paul's rap name should just be Paul.

G*Star, Ice Tray, JP, B-Ill, DJ Kit Kat, Haz-Matt, Good Boi and Paul.

...

I cannot for the life of me remember if James has a rap name.

Man, neither my Extended Version of "This Is Why I'm Paul" nor my complex theory about the nature of Killahbyte / Ice Tray were at all mentioned in the podcast.

I'm always so invisible to the crew.

Whaaaa?

Its because whatever language/script the site uses stores dates in integer form. Each day has a number assigned to it based on how many days are between it and the arbitrary but standardized baseline date (which seems to be December 31, 1969).
e.g. if dateValue = 25 then the Date is Jan 25, 1970
if dateValue = -5 then the Date is Dec 25, 1969
if dateValue = 365 then the Date is Dec 31, 1970
and Todays date is somewhere in 14000's

The problem occurs when the dateValue is left blank or improperly formatted, and the dateValue gets set equal to zero by default (Which would typically a sensible placeholder for integer values). But since 0 corresponds to the specific date "Dec 31, 1969" that's what it displays.

**Note: I'm not 100% certain in this specific case but based on what I know from some other programming languages this seems rather likely.

The forum timecode is based on Unix Time. Time 0 is Midnight, January 1, 1970. The timecode was "left blank", which probably registers as less than 0 (or 31-Dec 1969).

Oh cool, someone else has been doing transcripts for the Wiki? I did the one for LHC and have been trying to build up the courage to do another one...but man is it exhausting. If you tried quoting LHC to me I would probably be able to correct any mistake you make in your reciting of it.

Neat.
Unix Time seems a little more in depth/percise than the stuff I'm familiar with, but its the same general gist.

Yeah, I'm working on one for Vietnam; so tedious. Also, "what's the worst video game quote to shout during sex?" is the best question ever: 'G's bloodstains..?".

Bummer about the Max Payne movie, I wonder why it sucked? Maybe because Mark Wahlberg had some epic phail on his side

For doing that to Max Payne...
I say we kill him.
