Hooray! It's up. Sorry this was late, I've been migraine'd.

How's the volume this time? Better?

Intro: Officially Annoying.

Also, Dale's delivery of "That is surprising" was super awesome.
I think the D&Ders should have their own spin-off.

EDIT: Volume was good as far as I could tell, thank you!

I heartily second this idea.

stuff from actually listening to the podcast:
I did notice the cartridge sticking out of the NESbox; it's a nice touch. The execution for that idea was just awesome across the board, really.

Favorite part of the intermission: mouth-generated sound effects.

"Transporter 2 was RAD" was, itself, a pretty rad statement.

The music that precedes the dramatic reading is a bit long, I think.
Otherwise, good podcast this week.

Perhaps a D&Dcast?

Certainly the D&D players should show up a bit more in later HUSTLE episodes.

What's the music before the dramatic reading of "X ways to recognize a vampire"?

One thing I've never quite understood about Not Funny:

You bleep out all of the strings of profanity, but not the individual usages? :?

...Interesting format changes. Was that an original script that you will never produce, or suggested to you by someone? Maybe in each podcast from now on you could go through the Video Suggestions threads and pick one you like to read out?

Blame the music on him.

I laughed at the Vampire sketch Idea. I take it Matt said no way in hell to that, since it never will be produced.

I actually wrote the vampire sketch after my (single) viewing of Twilight, but we couldn't fit it into the schedule while it was still topical ;). While I'd love to do more of these, I don't know that we have enough debunked scripts around to merit it ;).

The music is a symphonic rearrangement of the Masterpiece Theatre theme.

Last track Matt would play

I think the music Matt was talking about is Gustav Holst - The Planets.

That totally was it, yes. Greig did Peer Gynt. I must have been high or something.

I know I'm late to the party, but people are still here, right? I have to say that as much as James does a stand up job editing the LRRcasts, I love the way Jer mixes it up; this was the funniest LRRcast in a while. Next year for whatever DB3 is, I'm gonna see if I can buy the right to edit the onsite LRRcast; I think that could be funny.

Anyways, as a thought, you guys get a lot of positive attention from various companies when you release topical videos. Have you ever thought about asking for prerelease copies of Geomettry Wars 3 or whatever and doing an onsite video review?

By the by, 'Not Funny' is the LRR video that I laughed hardest at. I'm so sorry.

Fun! Most of us run or guest-NPC or play in three different campaigns right now. (A couple of them are even routinely written up and posted to the Paizo boards.) Would it be funnier/more interesting to have excerpts from different games or should our hypothetical spin-off chronicle a specific plot?

A couple of PCs (played by Jess and Karen, who was away the evening we filmed) once put on a puppet show (in character) and that got filmed, but I can't seem to find a link. Sorry.

I can't help but notice that Graham didn't mention that after he finished filming he took up Karen's character and played for the rest of the evening. :D

I totally failed to mention that, yes. Not due to anything other than forgetfulness. I haven't played in a great while, and I had a lot of fun doing it!

A spin-off eh? ...interesting...

Think of it like The Guild, but tabletop. That's an untapped market right there!
Even the short time we saw the D&Ders, they each seemed to have their own 'character' or personality that was established with just a few lines. I think there's a lot of potential... not that you guys need any more work.

I'm actually pretty interested in that idea.
Knowing Jer, he'll have a script for the first episode by our next meeting :D

(This is not to say that this will ever happen, I am merely musing at the current time)
