I zoned out for a second, then heard Matt say "I really like the male fighter's build" and giggled.

I asked that same questioned about the character build a couple pages down the road.
But yeah. I usually play as a girl from the same reason that Matt does. But in Fallout 3 I did because of the Black Widow Perk and how the vast majority male enemies.

Who was tinkling at 54 minutes?
Re: LRRCast for A Standup Guy
Good podcast. Plenty of Matty goodness.
Bill mentioned a podcast where he basically just listens to people play D&D. I could actually really get into a podcast like that. Something for me to listen to while I'm doing boring WoW things, and seeing how other people play would surely make me a more self-aware DM.
Anybody know of any specific podcasts that are like this?

Jer turning evil would be an interesting twist that we haven't seen yet.

Could the first Edward James Olmos joke be the LRRies award for best movie with Edward James Olmos? Since he was in like 3 movies that year or something like that.

Runners, HO!
I can't wait!
Also, part of me thinks Graham would look stunning in a ST:TNG era Federation uniform. Photoshop anyone?
This might be a lot to ask, but what are the chances we could get recordings of the panels at anime evolution for, ya know, those of us on the other side of the continent?

Also, there's a shit ton of things to do in Oregon. To be fair, unless you're in Portland, Eugene, or Ashland, those things are pretty much just walking in various pretty locales.

Re: LRRCast for A Standup Guy
I'd just like to second goat's request for recordings of the anime evolution panels if at all possible. Thank you kindly.
Ask me about the Steve Flaig Experience.
Re: LRRCast for A Standup Guy
I would suggest that such a recording is unlikely.
Not entirely out of the question, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Re: LRRCast for A Standup Guy
It's as bad as the Oprah Book Club. First Graham tells me to buy Princess Bride on a podcast and it goes to my Kindle. Now Paul says Harry Harrison and I find 1 book and two omnibuses at Half Price books for a grand total of $6.25. At least they're recommending books and not cars...

Harry Harrison is awesome, so go with Paul on this. Of course I'm the guy who asked the question...

It probably isn't the one he refering to, but the Penny Arcade/PvP/Will Wheaton Dnd podcast is pretty good.

Hey...
Been a while since I posted, but after hearing the bit about Matt and Jer playing female chars and the ensuing bit about butt ugly Oblivion Characters...
http://ribonizer.uct2.net/ScreenShot3.jpg
Took me forever to get her looking like that XD
And there was little point to make such a pretty girl when all the others are so ugly ugly ugly XD
But still..
Also, Totally agree with the 'If I'm going to be staring at an ass, I'd rather it be one that's pleasant' bit XD
I have a friend who's like, totally the opposite in some weird homophobic reaction. Where he can't get into a game if the main character is a girl. No matter how fucking awesome the game, or the girl, can be, example: Castlevania Order of Ecclesia -_-
SHANOA~~~~~~~
