Holy Crap!
I tuned in to the LRR Cast to help me stay awake while I studied, it freaked me out when the opening bit was "Another way to stay awake, listen to the Loading Ready Run podcast.".

Not mentioned about Neotokyo: the fucking amazing soundtrack.
Also, Paul wouldn't have trouble with zombies, he's Gordon Freeman! He has loads of zombie experience.

I'm tempted to start playing Final Fantasy just so I can understand what Paul's talking about every week.
A great podcast, but what's with the backwards type in the description?

Also, I'm going to pry myself from my sick bed, ingest some food, greet the day... then crawl back into my deep hovel and see if I can't draw Kathleen's cat of awesomeness.

+100000000 to that. I recently bought it myself and have been freaking listening to it alot. It's good music for any kind of mood.
Also those 2 pictures are awesome. I seriously giggled for 10 mins
Re: LRRcast for Ways to Stay Awake
I remember some rumors flying around that Bruce Campbell would be playing Mysterio (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mysterio).

Re: LRRcast for Ways to Stay Awake
The DotA type game Jer was thinking of was probably League of Legends.
Edit as I'm listening: Matt clearly hasn't finished FFXII as it is Bashe's story, not Balthier's.

Re: LRRcast for Ways to Stay Awake
They are adorable.
As for the breed, all i know is that Khaavren is a longhair and has a torso that stretches to twice the length, so stretched out, Khaavren looks to be the size of three kittehs.

Re: LRRcast for Ways to Stay Awake
So Battlecat Khaavren would be LRR's equivalent of the the Catbus?

I wish to take part in the drawing festivities, and would like to know what Kat's cat looks like as reference

Khaavren can be seen in a t-shirt ad at the beginning of this video:

Also, briefly in this one:

Also, other minor appearances I don't recall.

Yeah, I can't draw big fluffly cats. Tabby Tortoiseshell or nothing.

Hahaaa, never assume I know. Even if I do know, I usually embellish details as I see them in my mind's eye anyway.

Re: LRRcast for Ways to Stay Awake
Thus far I think Echi's version is the closest to the actual Khaavren

I have, and I see what you're saying. My comment was in reference to the fact that Balthier repeatedly states that he's the leading man in the story, (and frankly, he is). While the game puts more focus on the stories of characters that surround him, it's balthier that actually ties the other characters' stories together. He's the character around which the game is centred, even though it's not made to feel that way.
Saying FFXII is about Basch is like saying FFIX was about Vivi. He had an extremely important role in the game, but his plot was a secondary focus of the title.
