Ad at bottom of screen
Is anyone else getting a "Betfair" ad rising up from the bottom of the screen when they go to a new page on the forum?

haven't seen one myself, so maybe region specific?

Likely as Americans have strange ideas about sports betting and online gambling.
One huge cultural difference between Australia and the United States is sports betting. Almost unknown in the United States outside of Vegas and the (horse) racing track, you find multiple bookies inside Australian sporting stadiums and bookies advertising on television.

Yes and it's getting really annoying, even if you close it it's back next time you load a page, something you tend to do a lot in forums.
Must be sneaking in via some of the other add code, unless Paul added bottom adds which seems unlikely.

Most likely sneaking in via code in the sidebar ads. If somebody can get a picture of it the next time it pops up, that would probably help them find and remove it from the ad list, since it seems to be region-locked, so Paul can't see it himself.

Aye. It's starting to get on my nerves now. I assume it must be in the coding since I've viewed the forum on two different machines and it still keeps popping up.

Ive seen that betfair one once, but I killed it and it stayed dead.

We're taking... steps to deal with the ad situation.
Steps.

Re: Ad at bottom of screen
Would those steps include the option for premium add free site membership?
I'd pay, seriously I would, normally the adds don't bother me but this banner...
