New/Better/Cheaper t-shirts!

Postby Paul » 06 Mar 2008, 18:19

Holy Blap! New T-Shirts!

In partnership with our new friends over at Pure Pwnage, we have just launched a whole new line of t-shirts!

In four stylish designs, these shirts are better then our old shirts in pretty much every possible way. In fact, they have been specifically engineered so that you really have no excuse not to buy one.

Let me break it down for you:
  • Better Looking - The three new designs are gorgeous and are sure to make you more popular with the opposite (or same) sex.
  • Better Quality - These shirts are all screen printed for maximum quality and colour.
  • Cheaper - At $16.99 each, the new shirts are 30% cheaper then through CafePress
  • More money for us - This doesn't really effect you, but you can get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing that even though the shirts are much cheaper, LRR is actually getting more per shirt then before. Also, instead of splitting the profit with some faceless corporation, we are now splitting it with Pure Pwnage, so either way you are supporting awesome Canadian comedy.

Buy them here!

If you saw us at Kei-kon or have been listening to the lrrcast, you probably know this was coming, but look surprised anyway.

Note that, for the moment, we have decided to stop selling Season 1-3 DVDs. Never fear though! Season 4 will be available soon, also though the LRR noobstore.

How soon are you not selling the DVDs?
Because I was going to buy 1-3 in a couple weeks.

We're technically not selling them as of now, because when Season 4 comes out, it will be through our friends at PP, not the current suppliers. That way we make way more money from them.

Following that as a test, Seasons 1-3 will return eventually but I don't know when.

If you desperately still want the current S1-3 (which is totally fine), email me and I send you a link, it's up to you.

You should have come to Keikon.

Being as you're in Victoria, you're more than welcome to buy one directly from us. They're $20 CDN in person, but there's no shipping and no exchange rate.

It's wasn't that there is a price difference between USD and CAD, just that the store is in Canada and lists in USD. It's more of a complaint of the internets in general then LRR.

That being said the second the dvd goes up I'm ordering it and some shirts (it's never too early to Christmas shop).

Relating to the hiatus for the Season 1-3 DVDs - would it be best to wait for them to be released with your new provider or to scramble orders in now?

I don't mind waiting if you get more of a kickback from it. Just as long as the content is the same. ^w^

Would it be possible to see the new DVDs at Comic Con International in San Diego or PAX?

It's up to you really.

If you're an anal collector like Matt, you'll probably want to wait because I imagine they'll be changes to the boxart, and then S1-4 will match... but it's really your call.

If you are, for sure, going to buy them, then if you wait, we'll make more from them, and that would be rad.

I have to say, it's kinda funny how the only shirt you guys aren't modeling for the store is the friggin logo for the site. Way to drop the ball, guys.

But the pictures are really good and the shirts look great. Stemming from Misty's comment though, do you have any plans to bring back the 3 PS3s, J&J, and Yummies shirts in the noobstore?

As much as I was looking forward to new shirts I was worried too... I'm a big guy.

But bless you guys for having a 3xl available. I now have no reason not to buy one... And those are actually really good prices. 18 for a 3xl... I paid 25 for my Serenity shirt in that size.

You guys rock and I hope to see new designs... Maybe a Nintendo Video Game related shirt? Nudge Nudge Wink Wink(If you want I can send you one with a transparent background... if I haven't already)

I am confused by their conversation too....

(I may be wrong but it seems like graham is being sarcastic... but I don't get why he's sarcastic...)

No, I'm being serious.
Tensen drew us something AWESOME, and we never got around to posting it.

I will change this.

Thanks for getting shiny new shirts after I already bought one of the less shiny old ones. :(

Maybe I will buy another shinier new one.

I'll definitely be buying some of this when the combined S1-4 set comes out. I second the notion that Graham posing with Wiimote = awesome.
