Thank you! Although he hasn't posted for a while, I nominate Kroze because he is more deserving that I.

I think the rank should be Weilder of the Ban Hammer.
The most unique, nicest, and confusing individual you will get to know. Don't be stupid around me, that's my job.

Thanks for the heads up.
I'm hoping this brings out anyone we forgot.
You can also nominate people for this medal, in case you remember and I don't.
I also won a podcast challenge...like a year and a half ago....

Apparently, forum privileges haven't been set yet, as a spambot has posted in this forum. So... yeah.
I can't think of a signature.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
I was trying to find a post I made earlier tonite but in the "Show your posts" section of my control panel it only lists the threads by name in which I've recently posted in & lists them in the order of most recent posts, not my own. Unless I'm using this feature wrong it is going to be rather difficult to search my posts.
Also, that thread in question seems to have disappeared entirely since I've posted.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
So, I tried setting up my signature again the way it was before...which was every image in the signature was clickable to go to whatever site I wanted linked at the time...which as of recent was my Twitter account. However, whenever I do the [url=http://twitter] thingie (ignore the fact that this URL won't work...I do know how to use the code XD), the url thing doesn't parse as an actual url but as a string of text. Two possible reasons being:
The site doesn't like having an image be a link as well.
The site does not like having urls span more than one line of text/images.
Either way, I figured it was a small but big enough bug to report. If you don't fix it, no worries, but it'd be nice. XD
Also: In reference to the medals, could there possibly be a way to either hide them temporarily (eg: you click on the "Medals" text to have a dropdown box or a popup window display the aforementioned medals) or perhaps set it up so that people can pick and choose one medal to have on display, similar to the "Titles" from WoW?
Yes, that would probably require extensive coding, but it was a thought nonetheless. =)

Would some form of captcha be possible? How about a Bayesian filter? Hopefully that will stop the spam-bots.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
dunno if it has been mentioned before, but the threads don't go to read status if you haven't read them at the end of the day. I'm just not feeling like reading through 5 pages
Also, It would be nice if the forumnames would be in bold again. Right now it's sometimes hard to see who posts things because all text is completely uniform.

I have no issue with the read functions, in fact they're functioning better for me right now than before the changeover.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Quick Question: I keep seeing the words "user avatar" instead of peoples actual avatars (my own included.) Why is this?

That button took me forever to find! I have no idea why I didn't see it, but I'm guessing that others also don't see it.
So . . . there it is, 'cause it took me too long to locate. Maybe I can help others.

I think concupiscentcrustacean should get the rank "Mrs. Muscle Claus" in honor of the Super Secret Surprise story.

You should do a medal for having made at least one appearance in a LRR video. Just a thought.

The spam should be taken care of. Paul upgraded the filtering a couple days ago, and the only spam posts since then have been from accounts that registered before then.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Not a problem but a suggestion... Another forum I sometimes visit (gasp!) has a feature that when you put the cursor over the thread title, the first few lines can be seen. That way if you can't tell what the thread is about from the title, you don't have to click on it to see if it's something interesting to you. It's a nice feature for a future update maybe?
