Forum bugs/wierdness?
Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
I've been having the same issue listed above (page not loading entirely or incorrectly), but starting this weekend, some videos aren't loading at all when the rest of the page does come up. I haven't tested this extensively, but I tried watching MGS4 Boss Auditions and it wouldn't come up. Even after a dozen or so refreshes of the page. Tried the next several videos and the first one that will actually load is Right to the source which is 4 weeks later. They won't load in either Flash or Quicktime.

After checking, that's happening to me too. It could be a problem from Revver.
Edit: After further checking, it's definitely Revver's fault. It's currently down.

How could it be revvers fault if when the front page or forums don't load?

I was talking about the videos not loading part.

Why don't you guys nest some more quotes? I'm sure that will fix everything.

They can't, on this version of phpBB you can only embed quotes three levels deep. It's a shame.

Whatever b.scorecardresearch.com is, or wherever it's from, that's what my computer keeps getting hung up on. It says that it's waiting for it, then it either says "Done" and nothing is loaded but the top bar, or it takes 2-3 minutes to load a page. My guess is something is wrong at that end.

The GPLP, Unskippable, and Checkpoint boards don't allow the deleting of own posts. Dunno if this is actually a problem.

Re: Forum bugs/wierdness?
Hey guys,
So I posted on one of the pages in the General thread, and I had this ad show up. Here's the screen as I captured it:
I don't complain about the ads that often, because I know that they are necessary to help with the running of LRR, but as a loyal fan, I'd REALLY like to not see this sort of interrupting popup become more and more visible on the LRR website. Yes, there is a close button, but why do they need to have a box in the middle of the screen if they already have a banner ad?

Hey guys, the link for this weeks Feed Dump takes you to over to PA and Checkpoint, not the Escapist.
