Ask An Alex - 01

For videos that aren't... y'know... "real". Whatever Thing, Phailhaüs, etc.

Wow! It really happened!

I like this. Especially the little multimedia bits. It ends so abruptly tho'. Is it supposed to be that short?

Oh, & as long as I'm being disjointed, nice use of forum avatars from the question askers.

I am most excited for this new series. =D Awesome video except unfortunately it felt cut off with the explanation of the dead fish reference. Hope to see these frequently like the excellent Phailhaus series!

Awesome.

Although it didn't have the usual kind of abrupt ending with the kinda electrical "Blrrpt" noise that usually accompanies a purposeful abrupt ending, like in the Whatever Things and such, which leads me to believe it was some sort of error.

Yarp that has to be some sort of error. The might alex would not give us an abrupt ending like so...
It was really too big:

I give you this instead

If he did, it'd have some sort of awesome reason like he immediately cuts to him playing Kirby obsessively and mumbling about "more video... rrnn.. later... haahh...", or his computer exploding and lighting his pants on fire with flaming shrapnel.

Or he's a big fan of Dream Theater's Pull Me Under.

Apart from that, great fun ^^

Yeah and it cut as he was answering my question about other Freudian oddities in the architecture and overall urban planning of Toronto.

I do like the use of avatar clips as signifiers of who is asking the question.

He seems to be working his way down the questions forum thread verbatim. If that's the case there are 14 more people before me.

Good thing he said AN Alex. Otherwise I'd have to protest most vigorously. Or boycott or something.

I do loves me those goggles, though. I rather want a pair. Very steampunk.

The forum avatars and little pictures floating about make this lolworthy. I approve.

It's good to se Alex back on videos, and even better to have him host his own :3

The fail count was funny, but it would be funnier if it was spelled: Phail Count.

Maybe the video was cut like that because he mentioned Candlejack while off cam

I'm wondering if it's supposed to end like that, as well.
I can't think of a signature.

YES! 2 out of 2 Fails for me!

Yeah, pretty abrupt ending, but considering it was immediately following "Dead fish" in reference to Freudian imagery...that may be a good thing.

Also, mucho stubble!

Uh, Graham? Half the video is missing.

What happened?

Sorry guys! Please bear with the technical difficulties!

The actual duration is 4:17, not 2:31.

EDIT: For anyone dying to see the full video, you can temporarily see it here on my website:

http://www.eximworks.org/movies/AskAnAlexEp01_FINAL.mp4

Sorry for all the confusion, but yes, there is a mistake afoot, and the video is not supposed to end that quickly.

That's what I thought. Also, I've always been of the opinion that pi > cake because while irrational is not a lie.
