Not new for anyone who was at the screening, but still! Phail!

For some reason this one seems more subdued, had Graham and/or Kathleen been drinking or up late or something?

Nope, just relaxed.
I assure you the next Phail (and its guest) will make up for that.

I still think it's funny though, mind you.

Oh no question it's funny, Katheine and DeKath were perfect nicknames.

DeKath could be Kathleen's rapper name, it's so perfect :D

Always nice to see another Phailhaus! Quite funny as usual. Can't wait for man cooking to be put up! Does that fall under Phailhaus now or it's own video type? Phailhaus is the spiritual successor to The Whatever Thing as far as I'm concerned.
Is it safe?

Through the whole video, I was like, "Kathleen looks different. What the hell is it?" I didn't realize that she was sans-glasses until she mentioned it. Or, rather, I didn't realize that she should have been IN glasses until then.

Funny stuff.
This video reminds me a lot of something made in the '80s. I think it has a lot to do with Graham's beard...

I'm ambivalent, I for one would love to be presided over by someone in a pseudo-starfleet uniform.

Side note...Scottish judges are also retaining the traditional court dress across both civil and criminal courts. One of the few occasions we're referred to as British rather than English by you and it's wrong. :(

Frappe is just pronounced frap where I am (New England, US). I don't know if that's just us though (we hate pronouncing things right).

according to wikipedia:
* Frappe, the New England name for a thick ice cream milkshake often made with cream instead of milk, and sometimes sweetened with malt.
* Greek frappé coffee, a foam-covered cold coffee drink (see smoothie)
looks like you're talking about a slightly different product. here in australia a frappé is actually a fruit based smoothie, but the american version has taken over (much like with everything else).

you hear all variations of it here: frap, frayp, frappy, frapeh. you also hear moe-cha for mocha and late for latté. sigh.

Observations.

1: Graham: beard like you mean it. Good job.

2: the hotel lights were not kind to Kathleen's complexion. I'm looking forward to the much better lighting back at Graham and Matt's place next time. It just makes everything look better.

3: On the topic of violence in campaigns, one of our candidates down here in the states, not naming any names(partly because everyone already knows which side is doing it), seems to be sending mobsters after his opponents' supporters.
Deemed too hazardous for human contact.

... and I am just SO glad it's not contagious.

Awesome phailhaus. It wasn't a fast-paced one, but things came together very nicely. Kudos, amigos.

Kathleen: You couldn't have done a better accent being a Kiwi?.. or is it part of the plan *ponders*. Maybe you just need "sum fush 'un churps first to warm uhp yah accent, broh"?

also:

seven = sivin
ten = tin
car = cah

wow, really? I guess I'm not surprised: it's not the kind of thing CNN would cover.

'cause, you know, they're "fair and balanced."

Of course, I don't watch any news channels, so I don't know who covered it, if it was covered at all off the Conservative news sites. My feelings are a bit mixed about it, because on the one hand, the fact that my side isn't doing it and the other side is gives the opportunity to demonize them in this final week in ways we've never had open to us before, but on the other hand, it's never a good thing to be happy that anyone's doing evil like that.

My only real disappointment is that they'd never try to "convince" my husky frame, so I won't be given a chance to "convince" them otherwise.(The good guys never attack first.) This is, however, one aspect of US politics that I hope we don't export to Canadia.

The light seemed a little funny in this one; but it was still good. Here's to hopefully at least one bonus video a week, every week, from now on. Jinxed!
