Morgan and Alex? Yes Please!

I'm slightly concerned that you guys made a giant penis... out of meat. But I liked the Starship Troopers reference a lot, and it must have tasted GREAT.

For my money, there was a little too much shouting and too little actual cooking in this one. For me the funniest part about Man Cooking is the contrast between all the manly shouting and the genuinely good cooking 'advice':

Sanitation is manly, wash your hands!

Real men recycle!

stuff like that. Still, it was an entertaining video.

This is from twitter just as I was about to post:
stephenfry: (...)Ate too much cheese yesterday LOL x

Also 2stepz posted this the other day. Anyways, its a testiment to how good 'Poker Before Dusk' is that it doesn't pale in comparison. Alex pistol whipping the meat was hilarious, and in regards to just cutting the ham in half and sticking it on the side, yeah, well...

That's a motif as part of a post-feminist reading into the stereotyped male psyche. Reading into comedy as if it's literature is manly... HAAAAHH!!

For the first few minutes, I honestly didn't think it would topple The Gigantor. But a larglier challenger appeared, and the win was taken. Good job.

HAAAAH! Twice the manliness. I hoped they'd do a joint Man Cooking when Alex went to Victoria for the holiday.
I wonder what would happen if Peta saw this.

I'll be honest, that bacon did NOT look cooked AT ALL when it came out of the oven. But I tend to like mine crispy...

I had to watch it twice as I missed half of it due to the tears of laughter :D Although I have to wonder - "I think the final objective would be..." What? Absolute meatliness? World domination? WILL WE EVER KNOW?

Morgan and Alex - by their powers combined create ULTIMATE MAN COOKING!!!

Well, it got cooked twice, so I wouldn't be too worried. I agree about liking crispy bacon.

This was what I was hoping for. A Morgan/Alex alliance in Man Cooking. I was almost expecting them to do the half-a-cow challenge. It seemed that might need the extra manpower.

And if I'm not mistaken, I heard Graham and Paul a few times in the background, which MIGHT imply that they also took the time to shoot something else while Alex was in town... perhaps something similar to the eating cloves of garlic? An Iron Something Challenge?

I like how this keep getting more and more over the top, yet always end with delicious looking food. Alex was a great addition to this one.

Also, I saw this because of the update on Twitter, so that's nice.

When the log was being assembled I was wondering. "How are they gooing to fit the ham on there?"

Then it happened.

I laughed so hard.

At first I was all, this is going to be just like Grandma's pork-kraut pinwheel! And then I was all...no. No, it sure isn't. Because Grandma wasn't a man.

If it was crispy they wouldn't be able to wrap the meat in it

Also; If the bacon was crispy prior to the wrapping, the bacon would be burnt.

This video is manly beyond manly. If a manly man came up he'd be like, Slooooow Down! And then he'd flex and fly away.

Probably my favorite part of the video was when Alex and Morgan shouted "SWISS MEAT ROLL!" and completely failed to synchronize.

Edit: Also the Elbow drop on the meat.

I believe the smoke was caused from the lake of cheese/meat grease that formed in the pan.

Incidentally, the gobbets of deep fried cheese found therein were among the tastiest morsels of this meal.

I think the only thing that can top this is if the next time Alex is in Victoria, we buy Sable a ticket down there too. I, for one, am apprehensive about that happening, for the subsequent man-plosion may well destroy the local galactic cluster.

And no, we can't bring in the Australian guys. Them simply been on the same continent as Alex and Morgan may well destroy the universe.

Sable coming down? Very yes. But one thing would make it even better.

A Trebuchet.
