Ah, Phail, let me count the ways I adore thee in a completely platonic fashion...

If the Phailhaus isn't live.. it must be dead.

Since it is occuring, it must be UNdead.

So is it a zombie? a ghoul? a vampire? A vambie?

Incidentally if HTML hates umlauts it must not be metal. I am so disillusioned.

The Phailhaus stingers/outakes are always good, but this one really struck me as funny for some reason.

lol, random tweeting. What was that? WotD (tetchy) actual meaning: irritable; touchy.

Also, I thought you were being phunny with the "coming to you live" thing.

Say- the phailhaus isn't scripted right?

the phailhaus is not scripted no. G re-takes stuff if the first delivery isn't good, but it's not pre-planned.

I loved it, and it's great to finally get another one. Hold on, I'll just watch it again to refresh my memory (I'm writing this a couple hours after the first watch).

...

Yeah, I allways assumed you were just saying it was live ironically, for the shits and giggles. And I agree that those Orlando Police made a bit of a stupid choice busting such a great source of information instead of listening to it.

Also, Kdz, while I personally am not a fan of lone mustaches I can apreciate that you are, and that if anyone's lone mustache could be cool it'd be Graham's.

Couldn't Desert Bus itself count as a giant 5+-day combination Phailhaus/Podcast?

I think the humour of Desert Bus is heavily derived from it's non-scripted and completely unrehearsed nature. Having it be organised, even so little as a Phailhaus is, would kinda ruin that.

That said, a 5 day-long Phailhaus would be interesting.

Wait, you know that Desert Bus is rehersed, right? They come up with loads of interesting things to happen months in advance. They even do a run through the week before. You think the Bus crashing just happens, you think Ash's boyfriend proposing was coincidence? Staged the whole thing. Yamaro was a plant.

The Pic of the Day section got lost for this episode (and while there's guarantee it was yours) I'm sorry about that.

Unless you mean you sent a story in. I usually don't use those because I check the current "odd news" from various sites, and forget to check for stories people may have sent me.

I am an avid member of the lone mustache aphicionado association and thus support your cause Kdz. FOR STACHE!!!

Yeah, about that whole rudeness thing, let me just say that I KNOW NOTHING!!! Sorry about my tetchiness there.

I'm Phil Phorephander and I approve this Phail!

Firstly, thank you for spreading humour and thus lifting the spirits of an ailing soul. :)

Secondly, I'm with Kdz and O.a.N. - for you a mustache appears to add a bit of authority, kind of like one on John Cleese, say...

Thirdly, I could swear I made some complaint about the 'live'ness of Phailhaus and a request for a properly live one, but in my current health I have been unable to locate it, even using the Search feature and only limiting my criteria to posts made by myself. After a page or two, opening up old threads ends up with a 'forever loading page' or in one case
No topics or posts met your search criteria
:?

No matter, I'll let the complaint slide, and second other peoples' request for a 'Live Phailhaus' at some point in the foreseeable future.

And lastly, that outtake nearly killed me; getting interrupted by that...ringtone? or whatever made me giggle, which tickled my throat, which set off a coughing fit...
*gasp-gasp*

Sad that it makes me feel better, yet slows the healing of my sore, raspy throat.

The Dutch egg liquor is not especially good, but it makes a damn fine cake.

Question. Were you using the sound board in any form for this?

No, I was using the on-board camera mic because the boom was left at the office.
We've been testing different mics with the board though. Got a condenser now. Sounds great, but the board seems to lay a little hiss in there. We're using it though!

That's why I was wondering. It seemed there was a bit of a hiss that isn't in your videos and I was wondering how it came to be.

I think the stinger may have been my favorite part of the video. The collision of your anger and whatever that sound was, it was timed so well that it struck me as really funny.
