The Big Damn Borderlands Jam
You know what's fun? Borderlands. You what's more fun? Playing Borderlands with other people. You know what's kinda hard to do? Find people to play Borderlands with. I have yet to play on a four man team.
I propose we select a date and time have a Big Damn Borderlands Jam with the LRR community and anyone else we can bring in. Meet new people, trade loot, and unlock achievements. If we get enough people we can do a rotating party kind of thing, switching off between hosts so everyone can get a chance to play with everyone else. Maybe have some kind of Duel Tourney or somesuch.
Well, what do you think, sirs? Any takers?

I live on the East Coast (when I say The Capital Wasteland i mean i live four blocks from the Germantown Police Station) and I don't sleep, so I can do any late night. Friday and Sunday evening would be better for me, Saturday is no good as I work 11ish hours.

Re: The Big Damn Borderlands Jam
If there too much of a gap between our levels we can always roll fresh, or if this takes some time to happen we can just say "Everyone have a lvl 10 ready to go" or something
Re: The Big Damn Borderlands Jam
I've not had the chance to head off to the local game shop in a while (yay exams and papers) so I'll not be able to pick up Borderlands until tomorrow or the day after but I'd love to join this if it happens.

Re: The Big Damn Borderlands Jam
Let's say Sunday afternoon, lvl 10 characters. Who wants what? I've already got my hunter, so I'd like to try Soldier or Siren.

Re: The Big Damn Borderlands Jam
It doesn't have to be this week if it's going to be an issue for some people. It might be better if this happens a week or two from now so we can get the best possible turnout. In the meantime I'd be more than happy to team up with anyone on this forum at any level on any night. Or early morning. My buddy would want to join, if that's cool.
And I should have pointed out this is for the 360 version, but if PC and PS3 owners can party up through this ROCK ON!

Re: The Big Damn Borderlands Jam
Late this month my PC should show up, and this might be the first game in a while I buy for PC. Going by the class descriptions I'm probably going to roll Siren, so look out for me to join your game and die horribly.

Re: The Big Damn Borderlands Jam
Guess what? My 360 just fucking red ringed, so no Borderlands for me. Or Netflix streaming or DVDs or anything else I was using it for.
