i think my personal best is somewhere between 12 and 14 hours. Halo 1, i am not sure how long it actually was but it was dark when i started and dark when i fnished, it wasn't from start to finish maybe just after the 2nd or 3rd level to the end.

Strangely enough there was a pizza order somewhere in the middle, i am starting to see a pattern here.. anyone else?

I played video games for the majority of a 34 hour LAN.

When Kingdom Hearts 2 came out, I played that thing from about 3:30 to about 1:00 for a week or so. It was intense.

I've als had some pretty long WoW sessions. Especially right before Wrath came out. I went from 52 to 70 in little less than a month.

Longest gaming session without a break would be Morrowind at somewhere around 14 hours. Then there's the weekend RPG sessions of D&D where we played until we fell asleep and then started playing when we woke up again. Or the first time I was introduced to DotA, we set up a LAN at a friends place and at the end of the night I was too tired to go back home to sleep so we kept gaming instead, for three days.
But yeah, worst was probably in WoW when Wrath came out. I didn't leave my apartment for a week.

Lets see. When I first got Destroy All Humans (the first one), I was sick and ended up just playing it all day long. I didn't time myself, but I beat it in one sitting (besides bathroom breaks)

this "Excit" puzzle game has sucked most of a day from me; started yesterday morning and been chipping away at it with breaks for bathroom, food, a tv show with the wife last night, and maybe three hours of sleep; on the plus side, it doesn't actually anger me like some - I'm just more and more fascinated, Also I've gotten to level 25 after only 27 hours!

Hard to say what my longest was... though I know my friends and I played nazi zombies for a good 14 hours the other day but I'm sure I've done longer... probably on Persona 3 or 4

I got snowed in at my friends place a few years back... and all we really had to eat were energy drinks and assorted chips and candies....so i played WoW for ...and i shit you not this is the truth... 32 hours straight...i got 2 dark whelplings...also i played the original red faction from start to finish over 9 hours...and i once put ina 14 hour Guitar hero marathon though admittedly that was with me and my friend swaping out every 30 minutes

I've played Saint's Row 2 as an all-nighter and well into the morning. I would put that at about 8 hrs. I've played Tales of Vesperia for the same amount of time. If I took breaks, I don't remember them.

Championship Manager 01/02. 21 hours. I made myself give up video games during my final exams at school so was desperate to play it and totally lost track of time.

For any football (soccer) fan these games are more addictive than WoW, which I also used to play.

The longest I've played a game nonstop was Fallout 3 for 36 hours last summer, I sat down, and put on a playlist of long podcasts, and played that game for 36 hours (Not counting bathroom breaks).

Alternatively, for about 2 weeks, me and 2 friends were playing borderlands for about 8 hours a day, which was more than i was sleeping at the time.

Edit: One other time, me and a friend played GRAW for about 7(or 8?) hours so we could get an achievement for playing for an extended period of time. We were literally 15 minutes away from being done, the sun was rising, and his mom came down and turned off the 360. Much rage.

I once had a Monkey Island marathon, games 1-4, and that took me about 16 hours... but for one game it would have to be grinding Mass Effect for roughly 20 hours... MMO would have to be 2 hours on FlyFF.... I'm not a huge fan as you can tell.

Honestly the longest ive played a game non stop (except to beep a pie or take a piss) would be playing Kingdom Hearts 2. From 12 noon one day. Untill 8 am the next. I dont regret it at all. Had fun.

I played Wow for about 17 hours straight without breaks once. I leveled up by about 10 levels; it was awesome.

I did also play Runescape for 27 hours too but it's not really a game game.

And I did 14 hours on Twilight Princess once aswell.
