"You can't take me," he murmured with his quaking, low voice, "you useless pieces of trash. This is my ship! My crew! I'm not going out like this!"

But go he did. Hurling insults all the way, he spat in their faces, derided them, and heaped scorn as well.

Handcuffed in the launch tube, he glowered at those present.

"Any last words?"

"You're all a bunch of useless maggots who outta know better. I'll see you in hell."

The button was pressed, and the air rushed out of the tube, him with it, a tiny grin ensconced on his face. Again, the fleet jumped out, leaving his body tumbling through space.

Re'ozul - Cylon has been killed.

Executive Officer of the Battlestar Galactica, it’s your job to whip the sorry rejects that crew her into something resembling a combat unit. You worship Bill Adama and react to his every word. "If the crew doesn't hate the XO, then he's not doing his job," is your motto. That is, when you’re not at the bottom of a bottle of booze. A hard alchoholic, it affects your performance and behavior.

You hate Cylons. You’ve seen many friends dead by their actions in the First Cylon War. You survived only to witness the near destruction of humanity in their deadly attacks.

Funny story, though. You are Cylon yourself.

Have fun with that!

Your fellow Cylons are [REDACTED]. You are allowed to message each other only at night.

Night two begins now!

Sorry, still nightime. I'm waiting for SOMEONE to send me a PM.

Edit; OK, I'm arbitrarily setting a 24 hour limit from right... now. Get me those PMs, you bastards!

She was washing up in the head after a long day manging Galactica's comms. She stretched her neck, groaned, and rubbed a sore spot.

The hatch behind her quietly scraped closed.

"H-hello?" she nervously blurted, "who's there?"

But no one answered.

Shrugging, she returned to the sink and finished washing her face. Looking up as she patted her face dry with a towel, she saw her in the mirror.

The lady grinned malevolently. A look of slow horror and realization came over the woman washing up.

"You!" she cried, "you're a Cy-"

She was cut off as the mysterious lady violently slammed her head into the mirror, shattering it. The woman slumped to the floor, dazed. The lady straddled her, gently held her head, and then violently snapped the neck. The lady then rose, stepped over the body, checked her appearance in the mirror, and left the room.

Perianth St. Claire (human) has been killed!

You are Galactica’s Communications Officer. At the time of the Cylon attack you were monitorsing Colonial Fleet communications traffic. You were among the first to notice the unusually high levels of shipboard malfunctions and failures aboard other battlestars.

After the Fleet's initial escape and pursuit by the Cylons, you coordinate Fleet activities such as FTL jumps.

You are often considered the ‘spirit’ or mascot of the Galactica.

You are human.

With 9 alive, it takes 5 to lynch.

I'm sure someone found out something. But maybe it's not helpful, and only shows someone's innocence, and this person would rather not paint a target on his, or her, back.

OTHER FACT: He didn't post here.
MORE OTHER FACT: Does this mean Allen is lurking?

I do find it interesting how in these games a lack of activity equates to being a baddie. Having said that, I suppose we don't have a lot else to go on.

It's not so much that it makes them a baddie so much as makes them suspicious because it makes them seem like they are trying to lay low.

Lack of activity in a Mafia game is supposed to be a stealth technique used by Anti-Town players, in the hope that the other players will lynch someone who is posting a lot and drawing attention to themselves, and forget about the Scum. However, in recent games on this forum a lot of people have been unable or unwilling to post much, so it isn't such a reliable strategy for Scum or such reliable evidence for Townies. Getting people who have been lurking to defend themselves is still a standard way of gleaning information and getting the game to progress, though. Hopefully, the accused player will be forced to respond and the players will have something to argue over.

I agree with Cake; it's unusual for Allen! to lurk this much. Especially since he's always keen to accuse others when they don't participate If he's actually innocent, it's entirely his own fault if he gets lynched.

VOTE: ALLEN!

it would be a little harsh to lynch him without giving him a bit of a chance to defend himself, plus today has not really been all that helpful if it ends now. granted yesterday went on too long, but we could do with some activity or townsmen are just gonna keep getting picked off. ok allen! could be mafia, but if he isn't we are getting dangerously close to loosing.

His last login shows as being at 12:11 EST (9:11 PST). That was 2 hours after MG's vote (#3), and 2 hours before Beta Guy's vote (#4). It's currently 2:20 PST, so I say give him til midnight (10 hours from this post). If he doesn't respond by then, we lynch him.
