Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth
It's coming out in two months. Is there anyone else who really wants to play this game? I played the other 4 Ace Attorney games and really liked them all, and I definitely want to try this.
Just call me Dylan. It's easier to pronounce.

Finally, I get to play as the foppish upper-class guy and his completely platonic rugged detective 'friend'.

I'm definitely looking forward to this. I really liked the Ace Attorney games. Plus Edgeworth has a sweet shirt.

Now that the game is out, has anyone played it? What are your opinions?
I'm picking the game up later today, after work.

I've played the demo on the website and from what I've played its absolutely brilliant! Its got all the charm of the Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice games, but with the dry wit of Edgeworth instead of the clunky charm of Phoenix. Also the new gameplay mechanics with Edgeworth's logic skills work really well.
My only complaint so far is that the investigation part where you drag Edgeworth around the screen felt a little clunky and was a little awkward to get the right precision, however I'm not sure if that was just because I was playing it with a mouse on my computer rather than playing it on a DS.
Unfortunately, it isn't out for us Brits until next week, so I have to wait to find out if the whole thing is any good, but in my opinion so long as the rest of the game is like the demo, its gonna be amazing!!
You can play the flash demo here!

I'll save everyone some time by saying there is no final climactic battle with Phoenix Wright in the courtroom.
Re: Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth
Not a problem, in fact I think I might be kinda disappointed if there was, since it would mean that at the end of the day Edgeworth couldn't stand up on his own and would need the assistance of a past character in order to actually achieve something worthwhile!

Hehehe, trial edition. Oh, Capcom.
Looks pretty fun.

Often outnumbered, never outpunned.
Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

Figured, as he has the most bizarre hair do in the series yet! And that is quite honestly saying something!!

I don't know about that. There's a lot of wacky hairstyles in the series, for sure, but a lot are stranger than Portsman. Godot, Wocky Kitaki, Ron DeLite, Jean Armstrong, and Luke Atmey come to mind.
In any case, I've played the game up to the end of the third case now, and I find I'm enjoying it about as much as I did the previous titles. My only complaint would be that it's a bit too easy. I liked how the difficulty ramped up in the second and third games, but this and AJ seem to have dropped in difficulty. For example, when pressing the witness during a rebuttal, Edgeworth will often say in a not-so-subtle manner that the statement you just pressed is the one with the contradiction. I got stuck a few times, but overall that's my impression. It feels like Edgeworth already knows the answer, and is only waiting for you to figure it out. I suppose that's in line with his character, as Edgeworth was always much more confident than Phoenix.
I haven't played the final two cases yet, so I'll withhold final judgment until then.

I'm sure it has your pressing you logic button quite often though. teehee.
Also I hear this game is super rare.

No need for the whole screen name.

I had no trouble getting a copy from my local Gamestop on release day. I suppose they wouldn't have printed too many copies, judging from sales of the previous games.
Also, fourth case was kind of disappointing by the end. The final showdown with (spoiler omitted) required little more than remembering information you had heard previously. (i.e. "Maybe I'll show that piece of evidence!"). Still enjoying the game, but I'd prefer more problem solving in my Ace Attorney.
