Pathfinder
i guess what we would decide upon is characters and other stuff.
People so far involved:
Me Half-orc Paladin
Re'ozul gnomish aberrant sorcerer
Joshua Elven Rogue
D-Darsh Monk or Inquisitor
Friend GM
Other Friend Ranger or something
Time:
If we play, it's at 6pm PST on mondays
How:
maybe Skype and OpenRPG

Re: Pathfindorz, (D&D3.5)
As to the how me and some other members of the forums have come up with a quite sound way of playing online, if that indeed is your intention.
Using Skype to voice chat, and openrpg to control the map and miniatures.

k, added you to the list. just need at least three more people.
Re: Pathfinder or D&D 4e
I could be a player for either, if it was to happen on a Monday or a Tuesday.

Re: Pathfinder or D&D 4e
I'd be interested as a player (I'm a n00b), and I'm probably available Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings (later than 6 or so).

Re: Pathfinder or D&D 4e
n00biness doesn't matter, just that some "fun" is involved, and this group seems to be opposite of most D&D type groups where they all play on the other end of the week. But it matters not.

Re: Pathfinder or D&D 4e
well metcarfre, every group needs a downer then, so you'll be it.
I was thinking of getting one of my RL friends to be the master and have a player party of five or we could just go with who we have now and have a player party of four.
either way we need to decide on pathfinder or Dungeons and dragons 4th edition and who's being what and what level we should start at

Re: Pathfinder or D&D 4e
I vote Pathfinder and at Level 1, I'll probably end up playing a Monk or Inquisitor one or the other

Re: Pathfinder or D&D 4e
I'd prefer simplicity (ie 4th) rather than complexity myself but I'll defer to the group. Level? Just start at the beginning, I say.

I'd go with pathfinder too
I call sorcerer

Re: Pathfinder
k, tomorrow i'll be asking two of my RL friends if either wants to be GM.
one was gonna be a GM for the pathfinder games my RL friends and i have but they still haven't finished the other one started.
my other friend is not tech literate but is great at weaving stories but not so much consistent as we were able to burn tapestries and then next game he said they were fine inexplicably.
otherwise it looks to be me as GM

Re: Pathfinder
I think I'd like to play a non-combat type, like a healer or caster. Don't really know what that works out to in Pathfinder so feel free to slot me in between what other people choose.

Re: Pathfinder
for healers/casters there's the druid, cleric, oracle, and witch. the oracle and witch are in the beta for the advanced book in the summer.
Re: Pathfinder
Roll attributes or use arrays?
Re: Pathfinder
