I have both champion bundles and love learning new heroes. I am sick of being the best guy on my team and struggling to carry everyone us the slippery slope of defeat. Three leavers in a row, I am determined not to play a game unless I have someone I know playing with me.

Looks intriguing from it's on-site trailer, what's it like? What kind of game is it? RTS with RPG elaments? Top down, over the shoulder? Are there only so many characters, do you unlock more, can you create custome ones?

LoL is DotA. Basically just imagine an RTS except you only control your lone champion among 2 or 4 allies, and you try to take down enough of your opposing team's towers to get at their Nexus and destroy it. Riot is continually added new champions every few weeks, so the roster is still ever expanding.

And to elaborate, there are many champions to choose from. A set number of them are available from week to week that everyone may choose from. Playing matches nets you points You can use these points to purchase the ability to use these champions whenever you choose

You also gain experience that goes towards your account. Leveling up gives you access to talent points that will buff all of you champions, along with rune slots which can also be used to grant bonuses. Level also helps determine your opponents in random groups. You may occasionally get a pro who is levelling a second account, or someone who played DoTA extensively, but it still helps keep things moderately even.
