Super Mario Crossover

Did you play in NES in your lifetime? Than do I ever have something pertinent to your interests.

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/534416

Found it by accident, on, god forbid, the escapist forums. Check this out, unless you have things to do. Than for the love of god don't. The point that every level is fun (and in my opinion challenging) with every character is a testament to Mario's level design.

Jer just tweeted about it. SO AWESOME.
Often outnumbered, never outpunned.

Note: in Ireland 'ye' is used as the plural of 'you'. It rather neatly avoids confusion online.

Playing Zelda with Megaman would kick ass.

Never have I had so much joy with a cross over, also a gun is apparently the best weapon to have in the Mushroom Kingdom

Wow what a great game. They put a lot of time into it with different music for each character, different strengths and weaknesses. It's simply perfect.

some tips and tricks I've figured out.

the 1 key will pause the game, allowing you to save a file.

The characters will keep their highest level of mushroom power which you have survived an entire level with them on the character select screen, even if you die while playing as a different character. All mushroom power resets to zero if you use a continue.

That's what I've got.

I've been saving after every level so I can keep all my flower powers.

Bill seems to be the best for pretty much every level except underwater. I've found Simon's axe to be useful in the water.

I like megaman. His buster is on the same level as the enemies, he can break bricks with his head, and he's got that dashy move

There is only one thing i dislike about this game (and other games with this flaw), the inability to mute the sounds and music.

You don't like classic NES music?

I do not know you.

I love the music, strictly for nostalgic reasons. But I, too, wish for some form of volume control.

Vista at least can mute individual browsers, so you could open and mute it in IE, then use a good browser for music, ect. That's what I do.

I was enraged that megamans overwold music was title music, and not level music.

FUN!

Favourited for funness. Yeah making a game in which you can't mute the music is the biggest online game sin.
Nothing to see here.
