It would seem a chunk has glitched and disappeared completely in the middle of the tunnel here. I don't know if it's just me who is seeing it though, since the carto shows no irregularities in the map

Have you tried logging off and on, to see if it was a load error?

Didn't occur to me at the time. I'll check again if I die but I'm not in the area anymore.

EDIT: I died again (watch out for that lava) so I checked in again. It seems I just had a loading error.

Something odd happened while I was digging some snow...anyone have their tools just disappear while they are using or holding them? Thought someone had taken a pickax >.> but then a shovel just vanished into thin air while I was digging so possible it may have happened more than once...heard something hit me though the first time and not while I was digging.

Tools currently take damage and wear from use because the mods are down, likely your shovel broke.

In excavating a mountain from around my wall in survival i have gone through at least 2 diamond shovels and 2 diamond picks, as well as who knows how many iron versions.


Wait, that might be wrong, it might have been 4 each of the diamond ones...

I miss the tool glitch ;.;

It wasn't actually the tool glitch before, the server had a plugin that effectively reinstated it after notch fixed it for SMP. We're back to standard settings now so no plugins and no protections.

Right, but that plugin was never on survival, or so I was led to believe. If I was mistaken that makes me even sadder, but that will be nice once we have mods again ^^

And if i was right and survival will forever have tools that break then I curse you lying for giving me false hope ;.;

I will build a rail line south from my base to the grand central station eventually. However it will be underground rather than on my bridge since boosters break up the look of the bridge too much.

Server is back up. Roll back of half an hour due to fire at the hourglass.

Fair warning: If that hourglass has one more problem, the server will go down until gunner can delete it from the world permanently. And if that occurs and it comes back NOT over an ocean, it will be deleted again and its constructor banned.

If anybody else wants to make a lava structure, ESPECIALLY if you want to have fucking WOOD in it like a complete ASSTARD, do it over the fucking ocean AWAY FROM THE BIGGEST TREE ON THE SERVER.

Vanilla is pissing me off. All admins are now to ban with zero-tolerance. You have my full support, so if any player looks at your wrong, and you want to ban them? Do it. Or maybe I already have, because this shit is BONKERS.

I"m just going to throw my two cents in here, but part of me hopes Survival doesn't get /home and /spawn back. I've enjoyed not having free teleports to safety lately.
