One of the two reasons I had everyone register their build areas was to put them on the map.

ok, so i found the public document with locations of all builds. i can also set up to have different "poi" on each render, or have them all the same. Also you can use custom icons to make the markers. if anyone wants to make one let me know.

here's a link for the template icons. they can be opened with Inkscape. final icon needs to be a .png

Yeah, please help me with that. The preset markers have some OK stuff, but there is stuff that is just missing that we could seriously use.

Many thanks to AdmiralMatt on helping me get http://map.lrrcraft.com/ working with markers now. (Current markers are samples. Some are in the wrong spots, and others might be just there for testing. We'll get a full spread soon enough.)

There's a tab in the upper right for markers, they're off by default.

Also, looks good folks!

Yeah, looks good for a test.

Posted most of these in the IRC a few days ago, but here's a list of stuff on the map you can mark(x,z):

(3292,-430) - Volafortis built something around here, can't remember the name.
(657,268) - Kinpatsu's Home (you have it marked wrong currently)
(20,2630) (-384,2508) (1360,-1229) (972,-132) (1618,1722) (1052,3809) - Villages
(963,-135) Darksun's Treehouse and VIllage. Has Villagers. Binary Station right Beside it.
(680,-110) My Home. Contains a Cactus Farm and Fishing Farm
(535,47) Some sort of Maze. I forget who owns it
(-1291,484) - No idea, but it has a nether portal
(1159, 2330) - Witch Hut, I think
(-882,-249) - Silpho's Home
(600,190) - Sky_rider19's Evil Incorporated (Home). Has a villager farm.
(-1368,-1) - Magister_Mystax's Home
(913,-358) - Weothun. Has Villagers
(-259,-97) - Lurkon's Home. Has a Village Farm
(-49,-1338) - Fort Dix (Dix's Home)
(2382,-377) - Nether Portal
(1354,-698) - Nether Portal. IIRC There's also a Rail station here too.

Everything else on the map either I have no idea, or it's already on the LRRCraft Issue Form Spreadsheet

There's another Nether portal right in front of my home on the ice sheet. Not 100% on the coordinates, but they should be about -1350, 40 or so.

town was my working titles for them. town is general points of interest (ie. Acropolis). and home would be players home base.

Thanks for the link, as I've been incurring this issue on my friend's server (which they chucked the old world on 1.7.4 for 1.8). Upgrading to Java 8u20 has done NOTHING to resolve it & tweaking video settings hasn't really fixed the issue... it's just making the jump a lot larger (from 80 - 120 fps down to 8-10 fps when the issue hits).

It's a bit perplexing & frustrating as I'm in an area that's mostly undeveloped (beyond the work that I've done in the area, mostly cobblestone work)... so DEFINITELY check this out!

OK... Here's the thing: I've got like 10 or so people repeatedly telling me that it's alright... Take my time... It's the complete silence from the dozens of others that worries me.

How many different ways can people put it though? If anyone had a complaint, wouldn't we be hearing about it? If there's anything I've learned about the internet, it's that people love to complain. :P

For what it's worth, I'm in the consensus of "it's all good, take your time", but people have already said that, and I'm more of a lurker anyway, so if someone voices my opinion for me, I get to take a break! :D

Adding to the consensus... Take your time, life happens. I haven't been active for a while, but that's because things have been so busy for me. However, I do know that running a donation based Minecraft server should never be a top priority for anyone, unless they happen to have tons of time on their hands.

So, when it happens, it happens, and we'll all come back and enjoy ourselves again!

Yeah, I know it's illogical, but my brain always goes to the worst-case scenario, unfortunately.

To chime in on the silence portion, I know I would hate it if someone kept saying the same thing every other day so that's why I have been quiet and patient
