So... Looking at the snapshot notes... I withdraw my market request for Giant Mushroom blocks and replace it with a request for Prismarine Shards and Crystals. (Also Red Sand.)

Yes, Red Sand is on the plan for adding. :)

I'll have to check these new snapshots, as I'd never even heard it was going to be an option.

Short version: New structure, Water Dungeon, made of new blocks. Mob that spawns in the structure drops items that can be used to make the new blocks.

Also of note: Sponge blocks in Survival mode, Silk Touching a Giant Mushroom block works more the way you think it will, Grass-proof Dirt, and player-made Cracked Stone Brick.

Wat... Hold up... Did the banlist get reverted, too? I remember banning you for several hours when you royally pissed me off one time, but I unbanned you later when I cooled down. If it got reverted back to that time, that's also really annoying. I didn't touch any player data, so having this and the inventory reset happen confuses me.

Edit: Just unbanned you and made sure vinny was still banned.

Edit 2: You left before I could ask what was missing from your Ender Chest so I could replace it. :(

Huh, I guess I dont even notice when you flip out and ban me for awhile.

Anyways, Ender chests also got emptied. I lost three diamond shovels with whatever unbreaking is at the market and and two diamond pick axes with whatever unbreaking and efficiency is at the market. My bow with Power 5 unbreaking 3 and a chain helmet of respiration 3 and unbreaking from the market.

Plus some arrow and snow but those are easy to get back.

It was only for a few hours, and it was based on something you said in LRL chat. You might have been watching the stream, eating dinner, or whatever, and not even tried to get on.

Ender chests did NOT get "emptied" per se. They got reverted to an earlier time. I guess it just depends on what you had in it at that time, and if it was nothing, that's what it reverted to.

Your stuff was restored.

Well, my inventory (and ender chest inventory) have been reverted to... a month or two ago? I don't think I've lost anything important, and I might have gained some stuff, just thought I'd report it.

Yeah. All personal data, including inventory, location, and ender chest items reverted. I have zero idea why. :|

Something just happened to the server, and I'm not sure what, but I can't diagnose it until everyone stops trying to join the server. Once that happens, I can figure out what went on.

If you can please stop trying to join the server until further notice, that would be great. Specifically, Lord_Hosk, lordanapis, and Foxmar320 keep trying to join the server.

Re: LRR Minecraft Server

I'm sorry if I was confused, but I got it down and saved safely and now am diagnosing it.

From what I can tell, the issue is a corrupted scoreboard.dat file. What I'm suspecting happened, from what I've learned, is that there is a limit to the number of players you can put on a team. So our new friend Iceberg1972 was authorized this morning. He was the final person allowed on the team. Then, when I was working on the new Dragon Portal Store, one of the command blocks I tested updated the scoreboard, it overloaded and it crashed the scoreboard system.

So... There are apparently 2 fixes for this.

1. Delete scoreboard.dat
Upside to this: Fixes the server immediately, supposedly.
Downside to this: Everyone's money is gone and everyone needs to be re-authorized again.
2. Use NBTExplorer to navigate the file and delete the problematic command.
Upside to this: Everything on the scoreboard gets saved.
Downside to this: It will take a bunch of time to find and fix.

I'm going to work on this and see if I can figure out the best solution.

To prevent this in the future, I think we're going to need to go back to an older suggestion: splitting people up into teams, which are each run by a different Mod. What does everyone think of this idea? If you like it, how do you think it should be split up? Should it be by region where the Mod is? Should it be by time, where the people are typically online at similar times to the Mod?

Please make your suggestions regarding this idea.

Edit: Confirmed that removing scoreboard.dat solves the problem.

Does it matter in which mod's team you are after you've been authorised? If it has no effect after that, I'd say just put people on the team of whatever mod is online when they get on.

Not really but the way I envision it is that they get "priority":

Say you're on Lurkon's team. Then, if you have issues that need resolving, Lurkon would be the one you go to primarily. However, if Lurkon's not on, or if he's on but isn't available to help, then the other Mods can certainly step in to help.

I hope that makes sense enough, and the Mods would become more vigilant over those under their team, and less vigilant over those not under their team, so they don't have to look out for the whole server to take care of.

Also, I'm trying to figure out how to make it so that there are roughly equal amounts on each team.
