I suggest using a tool like MCEdit to delete those chunks, and let them re-generate.

I'm just wondering what's causing the chunk errors in the first place...

well if we where talking about beta versions my first guess would of been memory leaks... ahh the good old days when everything was simple (barely functional, but simple none the less...).
and yeah its a good idea to use MCEdit and such tools to try and get rid of those chunks without nuking the server (pain in the ass to do so, chunk by chunk, but its A solution).
p.s: let me know when and if im allowed to step on to the server once again, ATM im afraid to look at it funny of a random chance it will crush again.

ChaosKing: Since I deleted your game file, you should be back at spawn with a fresh start, and I haven't seen any chunk errors near spawn. It appears that it only happens as you get far from spawn.

OK, I'm running MCEdit right now, but I have no idea how to view the coordinates, so I have no idea where these chunk errors are. I did find a ridonkulous Nether Fortress in the Nether, though. It's to the left of the one that's near spawn's Nether portal. (KingKool: You are a crazy bugger, I'll give you that, with your crazy Nether house.)

Alright. Found the error chunks. Correcting now, hopefully.

Also, it wasn't just the skeletons falling in. Because it's in the middle of a forest, the saplings are falling in, too, and that's what really glitched it.

World edited. (Glad I was using a backup copy.) Re-uploading to replace the live data. In theory, this should work. I hope nobody had any underground work in that area, because I just deleted a few hundred chunks in a rectangle.

Also, Owl, your island has become quite ominous. Are you trying to beat out Ike for ridiculousness? Also, why are you building a giant cannon aimed to destroy me?

OK, the server is back and functional. I would stay out of that forest, though, as it gets slow there, still. The server's still trying to render hundreds of falling saplings in what is now underground. Walk through if you need to, but I wouldn't build anything there.

hmm well im located close to that forest, but the missing chunk area should be roughly a chunk or two from my rendering distance.

The bird is up to no good i say! he always up to something ominous, as a precaution i would recommend getting armed to the teeth and building a death ray! ye know... for world peace and giggles.

So I have taken the liberty of collecting eye of enders to open the end portal and I believe it is customary to make the slaying of the dragon an event. So... start discussing times and dates for it.

Awesome job Jostain you rock! the man who single handed collected all the eyes while i was in a supporting role of trying to find an ender to slay and aid with the task (it horribly failed due to some weird alignment of the planets that prevented enders from spawning anywhere in my sight for 2hrs, other then the epic ender that decided to be a belrog and we both plunged from a narrow bridge in to a chasm of death fighting and drowning in lava together),what resulted in me massively failing at it.

On the dragon slaying, i would love to be there at a convenient time near you!
I would personally consider a weekend day and a time that can suit both European and american players, that's usually evening hours for Europe and noon-afternoon for americans

Sundays are generally the day when the least people have shit to do so any time before 21.00 gmt is a good time to start for me. It should also be reasonable for the american half of the server.
I am not entierly sure how many wants to participate in this so please make a post and what time you would like.

I also need to point out that smeghead did the bulk of the work in finding a stronghold in the first place so he needs to be able to participate.

Shoot back? I am not shooting at you. Is someone shooting at you? A TNT cannon does not look like a cannon and I do not have one.

As for the ender party, sunday after 18:00 GMT and before 21:00 GMT is good for me.
