I'm sorry if I was confused, but I got it down and saved safely and now am diagnosing it.
From what I can tell, the issue is a corrupted scoreboard.dat file. What I'm suspecting happened, from what I've learned, is that there is a limit to the number of players you can put on a team. So our new friend Iceberg1972 was authorized this morning. He was the final person allowed on the team. Then, when I was working on the new Dragon Portal Store, one of the command blocks I tested updated the scoreboard, it overloaded and it crashed the scoreboard system.
So... There are apparently 2 fixes for this.
1. Delete scoreboard.dat
Upside to this: Fixes the server immediately, supposedly.
Downside to this: Everyone's money is gone and everyone needs to be re-authorized again.
2. Use NBTExplorer to navigate the file and delete the problematic command.
Upside to this: Everything on the scoreboard gets saved.
Downside to this: It will take a bunch of time to find and fix.
I'm going to work on this and see if I can figure out the best solution.
To prevent this in the future, I think we're going to need to go back to an older suggestion: splitting people up into teams, which are each run by a different Mod. What does everyone think of this idea? If you like it, how do you think it should be split up? Should it be by region where the Mod is? Should it be by time, where the people are typically online at similar times to the Mod?
Please make your suggestions regarding this idea.
Edit: Confirmed that removing scoreboard.dat solves the problem.
