And... I am a complete derp, because I didn't realize Memorial Day weekend is this weekend, when I thought it was next weekend. I'll be out of town, so no End Raid this weekend either.

Maybe? Let's see what the Fan Draft time for next week is?

Also, if we do it next week, let's start running possible times for everyone so we can know when to coordinate early enough? I'd like as many people as possible to go.

When departing from Parker's Nether Gate to the Interchange, the first two powered rails have lost power. I didn't have any tools on me so I couldn't get underneath to see what happened, but I'm guessing either a Ghast fireball got underneath when someone was traveling or the nearby lava flow got disturbed to knock out the redstone torches.

EDIT: Not interested in the End raid, so any time works for me :)

Complete revamp of the Nether rail is on the agenda, but I'll fix this issue when I get back, if a Mod doesn't handle it first.

End raid: I have to work early the sunday, thus anything before 10:00 GMT or 00:00 Amsterdam works for me, but that is early for most of you I guess.
So just figure out a time and I'll see if I can join

When you get a moment, Memo, looks like Minecraft just updated to 1.7.9.

The server is already at 1.7.9? How is that an update?

...
Last night Minecraft downloaded something and I couldn't log into the server. I downed my version to 1.7.8 and logged in fine. I've been using 1.7.8 until just now when I went back to 1.7.9. Thought it had updated.

Did the launcher update, perhaps? That wouldn't affect the server.

1. I now know what updated. Mojang did an update that has Realms available worldwide.

2. How are we on timing of the End Raid? If you haven't already posted, who's good for this Saturday, and at what time?

I'm free as far as I know, except for a few hours Saturday Afternoon.

EDIT: Actually, I forgot I'm busy most of the Afternoon and Morning. As long as it's after 6 PM ADT (5 EDT), I should be able to make it.

I have to go to a wedding on Friday so my Saturday is reserved for the recovery from said wedding. That, and I probably won't have access to a computer since I'll be out of town. I'll regret missing it but of course I don't want to stand in anyone's way if there's no better time. :)

Why would you need bows and armor? You can just hit it with a thousand snowballs and it cant attack and dies.

I've built an awesome Fireworks display launcher on the Acropolis to celebrate the dragon's demise!

It does require 38 fireworks per wave of fireworks, though, so that's something. But you can even leave it on to unleash a steady stream until it's empty!

Sadly, it can't be hoppered up to a chest, so the dispensers have to be manually loaded.

(Technically, it could be hoppered, but it would look too uniform if it was, IMO, because they'd have to be placed all at ground level, and they can't be underground, or they'd have a chance of misfire.)

Speaking of Enchantments, there's 2 villagers over at Lurkon's Fortress, one offering to enchant a diamond sword with Sharpness II, the other offering to enchant a Diamond Chestplate with Projectile Protection III.

Also, if you haven't seen it, A new waterway/canal system was finished that links Yggdrasil, Weohtun, and The Acropolis NE Tower. Looks really nice guys.

Might be worthwhile to line some of that canal with bottom-half slabs at the water's edge, if there's room for it. Will keep people from killing their boats bumping into stuff. (The surface of a half-slab set at the bottom half of water level is lower than the bottom of a boat, so a boat "lands" on it safely rather than crashing into it.)

I'm celebrating my birthday saturday, so by the time you do the end raid (which would likely be late evening or night in Europe) I'll probably be too tired to join.
