Humble indie Bundle 2
Humble indie Bundle 2
Now I know around here we've charities it up pretty well already, but hey you can pay as little as a buck if you want
www.humblebundle.com
braind, and osmos are both great games, machinarium looks cool, and no idea about that titans one, but fuck it, it can cost you 25 cents.
There's really no reason NOT to get this, even if you own all the games give some gifts, they all work for mac, linux, and Windows.
BE CHARITABLE!!!

SWEET another Humble Bundle! I loved the first one, definitely buying this.

Consider this signature a museum piece, since I love it and am unlikely to change it ever.

I donated for this today. I feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Re: Humble indie Bundle 2
Looks awesome, although I already own copies of Braid, Machinarium and Osmos, the last two from a different indie bundle. Nevertheless, can never have too much indie goodness and the other two games look fairly intriguing so I might get it just for those two and heap more money to charity.

These games were not in the first Humble Indie Bundle. Just a different indie bundle.

Is it bad that I need to check the Mac system requirements for Braid & etc.?

I missed the last Bundle. I was then stricken with a sense of great sorrow and loss. I shall not fail again.

Linux users>Mac users>Windows users, in terms of generosity.

But is it really that surprising?
Windows users > Mac users > Linux users, in terms of ability to play games.
At least that's how I see it.

I still have my fingers crossed for Steam on linux, I mean, Valve does have the source engine working nativity in a linux environment. They also probably donated more because of all the money they saved from not buying a $300 OS (or multi-thousand dollar OS in Macs case, which is also why Mac users donated more, I mean, they must be rich if they feel the need to drop that much cash on a computer).

Interesting.
Not when you consider the socio-economic breakdown of the people who use those platforms.

I was aware I was middle class, but I was not aware Linux users are generally rich.
This of course assumes one income is indicative of the amount they give to charity.

I mostly got this one for Machinarium, and I think Samorost 2 was the only one from the other bundle that I actually completed.

Re: Humble indie Bundle 2
I found out about the last one too late, which sucked.
It means I've finally got Braid, after thinking about it for months.
And it's awesome
Can't wait to play the rest of the games now...

Re: Humble indie Bundle 2
Already had Machinarium (thank you, Steam-Indie-Bundle during the latest madness), but now I own Braid and... um... some other games too. Yay! For the children!
