There's a character the OP can get behind. Or a man of that stature can get behind him.

Those are all good characters, and imma let you finish, but Weighted Companion Cube is the best video game protagonist.

Re: Your Favorite Game Characters?
In that case I'm going to give you a bit of advice: don't watch The Spoony Experiment. Ever.
Meanwhile, in a vain attempt to give this post some sustenance, here are the runners-up to Ms. Ryan for my favorite characters.
A man of few words who needs no introduction.
The real Shepard is a woman, goddammit. I don't care what anyone else says.
So bad-ass that you don't even need to understand what he's saying. Or what she's saying. Whatever.
This guy makes insanity look good.
And for the record, you all should be damn proud of me for not listing any of the customizable characters in games that I've made into myself. It takes a lot of effort to keep my rampant narcissism in check.

I'm on my phone, so no pictures until I get home, but mine are Tifa Lockheart, Lara Croft, Guybrush Threepwood and Luigi.

Re: Your Favorite Game Characters?
He's the first character i can remember that game was, and still is, an awesome experience. I feel the character was deep and compelling and he looks kick ass.

Guybrush Threepwood.
And I'm also on Matt's side. I've dealt with enough whiny broody teenagers (and WAS one to boot) to know that they're not compelling characters.
Meh, you're free to like whatever character you like, but there are some things that just do not compute for other people.

Re: Your Favorite Game Characters?
Hey Matt, I still like the Gunblade!
Also, FF8 really wasn't that bad, especially not when compared to the other horrific Final Fantasy games from recent times.

At least FFX was good.
