Re: Portal 2 ARG
The top bar is the average of all the other bars so it cannot get full without completing the other games.

Re: Portal 2 ARG
So it is
Still, the overclock is increasing the completion rate by a significant amount.
Or so I am lead to believe.
Also, we don't know what will happen at 0 potatoes.
I'm still calling a midnight release.

Re: Portal 2 ARG
At the moment we're launching seven hours ahead of schedule. After all the bars are filled we'll probably be looking at a release 12 hours ahead of the original target time.

Re: Portal 2 ARG
Ima go with the numbers on this one, and say about 10 hours ahead of scheduled, which is to say, around 11 or 12 tonight. I doubt under any circumstances it will release later than 1 am, however.
Re: Portal 2 ARG
Countdown is over and Portal 2 has been released. If you collected all the potatoes you also now own all the games Valve has released.
And I'm sure most of the people that have already posted here already know those facts if they were like me and watching the countdown like a hawk.

If I'd known that's what the Potatoes gave I would've made more of an effort to get them D:

I'd have put less effort into them.. well, either that or not pre-ordered portal 2.
Honestly the reward seems like a bit of a slap in the face. Its a task aimed at Valves most dedicated fans that only rewards them with stuff that, as dedicated fans, they don't actually need.
Hours spent on those stupid potatoes and I got nothing, because at that point I had already pre-ordered portal 2 and had all prior valve games on my account.
and now; back to me.

Re: Portal 2 ARG
I've only got the original Portal, because I get into games really late, so it would've been a nice package for me.
