Oh now I do. I'm a third of the way in. Blissfully unaware of being recorded.

Ha I like the comment about if you knew this was going on the internet. Wasn't that the point?

The chatroom for the LRRcraft Steam group. Also Kobra was the only one who didn't know he was being recorded.
As for that comment, I really don't get what they were referring to. We were just being ourselves! What's so odd about that?

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
Even if I knew I was being recorded, I'd still not have cared. I always say what I'm thinking.

And my recording thanks you for it. Also, the whole event that got everyone together was named "Lying Plays Team Fortress 2" and the details clearly stated recording, so you've only yourself to blame there
I'll be recording the approaching game night's events in Left 4 Dead 2 as well.

I'm installing L4D 1 HOPING that I skip the 6GB download for L4D 2. I mean it actually redownloads L4D 1 again. So here's hoping!

I really need to add the rest of you to my friends on Steam so that I can get in on these fun times. (If you don't mind, that is. )

Steam name: Kage_Kobura. For those that don't have me.
Oh and nope. Still an 8GB patch for L4D 2. No fucking joy.

My steam name is the same as my forum name. Feel free to add me, and I'll add you to the LRRcraft group too so you can see announcements about these things.

The Team LRRcraft group is currently invite-only so we can restrict it to LRRcraft comrades, but any group-member can invite new folks.

Question did you post an event for this, and I just missed it, or if you didn't for future can we.

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
Yeah, he posted an event for this a week before the day and was wondering why there wasn't much of a response to it. I figured it was because people just didn't see it as events only pop-up at the moment of creation and sticks on the community page quietly from that point onwards.

For future then repost (I think we can do that) when it is going on. So even if we missed the first one, there is a chance we'll see it next time.

I just remembered something. I did actually see a pop-up at 7pm GMT for when the event was scheduled to remind us that it's on at that point. Still! We'll learn and work out a system!

I should really pay more attention to these things. I should be able to join up L4D2 on Saturday and dazzle you all with my astounding (lack of) skills!

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
Well they've released a new update to coincide with the release of Sleeping Dogs on Steam, including (among other things), a brand new Spy Sapper.
A sapper that, whilst attached to a sentry, reverses its construction until it is entirely destroyed and drops to the floor as a toolbox. It can completely dismantle a level 3 sentry in 15 seconds, and if you knock the sapper off the sentry you'll be very lucky to catch it at level 2.
And yet, every forum is full of "OMG POMSON IS OP! NERF PLS!", despite the fact that the Pomson fires a slow-moving projectile that deals substantially reduced damage and only does anything special if it hits 2 of the 9 classes in the game.
If I could curse...
