I get that, but just because you're not opposed to it doesn't mean I don't still feel bad for being unable to contribute ideally.

It's easy enough to pick up, after a couple rounds you'll be well into the swing of things.

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
Considering the terror we routinely unleash on servers, not sure I'd agree with that.

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
In Mann vs Machine, it's kind of hard to go wrong experimenting. Everything seems to work. The only problem it has is that it doesn't scale to people in the server. If there are 3 people, you still have robots with the health and damage that accommodates to the maximum amount of people.
So maximum people in the server, just have fun! Go a class you never thought you'd try and see how the new skills work against robots! You won't be letting the team down because, honestly, a lot of us are there just to kill robots and know that we get absolutely no reward out of it if we win anyway.

Occasionally I'm there to rage at the unending onslaught of sentry busters, but yes

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
So the past couple Team LRRcraft game nights have had pretty poor turnouts, would I be correct in assuming this is because of the gluttony of big-name game releases recently? Guild Wars 2, Borderlands, etc.?

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
I can't speak for everyone, but for me it is part Borderlands 2 and part schoolwork.
Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
Guild Wars 2 definitely stole me. Two level 80s. But everyone's burned out on that with a lack of true end-game. Others, never even bothered playing long!
I run my own guild so I had to get right in about it and get my claws dug right in for my guild members and start culling people that were pissing others off. But now that the shit has settled and people are drifting away from the game due to university, family, other games and so on, I can sneak in a game this weekend if there's one going.
It'd be nice to play a game of skill again.

For me it was not having internet here. I'd be up for a game now though.

Great thing about a weekly game night is as long as there's a calender and a day/night cycle it'll be there waiting.

For me it's been GW2 and a lot of uni work. I'll probably be available for something on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend (i.e. the weekend of the 6th)

I haven't participated mostly due to poor PC performance.

My real life schedule is all over the place, and now Saturdays are going to work even worse, since my D&D group has moved to mostly Saturday evenings. I'll show up when I can, but unfortunately it's not something I can usually commit to in advance. =/

Our home is gone but not our community. We'll find somewhere new and dig our roots once more.

We shall dig our roots in the spines of our enemies, and wall our palaces with their scorched flesh.
Their widows and children shall provide light refreshment.

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
It's been a slow, painful death and I'm sort of happy for them. Fugi at least has seemed less than enthusiastic about running the server, especially when we couldn't really offer much financial compensation. It's been months since I logged into Minecraft and the server was up, so this is just closure.
Don't worry, friends. We'll sort something out. We're LRRcraft. You can take our server, but you'll never take our capacity to murder each other with glee over and over and over.

Re: LRRCraft presents: LRR Dedicated TF2 Server
But if you could take Auber's capacity to set people on fire that would be very much appreciated.

*pushes Geoff off a balcony and stabs him in the kidneys* I didn't kill him! I'm up here! I'm as shocked as you are!
