Re: The 'Guild Wars' & 'Guild Wars 2' Thread.
I might stay up just long enough to make my main character, that way when I wake up in the morning I'm already ready to track down my new guildmates and get to work.
Re: The 'Guild Wars' & 'Guild Wars 2' Thread.
Servers have been up for the past hour. GOT MY NAME! GET IT ROUND YE!

Re: The 'Guild Wars' & 'Guild Wars 2' Thread.
I woke up, hid in bed to avoid mumtyrant. Played for less than an hour. Was draggged away to converse with mother. Experienced brief power-cut. Came back, turned on PC. Tried logging in, Broadband cried. I restarted it. Log in errors. Thought it was at my end. Went on twitter just in case; I am not the only one. Got to level 4/5

The EU servers are down. Even GUILD WARS 1 is down!

I'm getting time to upload my paintings to my deviant art profile where they'll be ignored, so I don't mind too much.

Ever since I attempted a server transfer to get onto my guild's server I haven't been able to log back in. It makes me sad.

She's prime judge for the tech contest. The one with fancy blue and yellowy cloth armour.
I didn't notice her at first, which shows how good a job it was.

*decides to be 'That Bitch' for a moment*
To be exact, Felicia Day voices the character of Zojja, one of the members of Destiny's Edge.
*end 'That Bitch' moment*
Also, wheeeeeeeeee! Gotten my main elementalist, Lior, to lv 15 and my main thief, Arashi, to lv 6. Still trying to get the hang of crafting but I think I'm getting there.
Speaking of...
Apparently someone reached lv 80 already *just* from crafting alone. This makes me sad...

That's because crafting is bugged and gives WAY more exp than it should. The highest hurdle so far is 50 to 75 without the AH but I'm SO CLOSE! It's mainly jute that's the problem. As an armour smith. For insignias. Fuck jute.
Anyway, crafting items normally gives 80-100 exp for components and around 300-500 for a finished item. A component I was crafting in armour smithing took me from 25 to 50 smithing and gave 500 exp per item. FOR A COMPONENT! So I went from 17 to 18 just from that! I had over 100 on auto cue because they were 2 bronze bars each!
So someone decided to exploit that and get to 18 in 16 hours. All I want to know is WHERE DID HE GET THE JUTE?!
Also, level 25 guardian now. Mainly from exploring, story quests and crafting.

I find crafting skills slowly without the ah.
I harvested everything I came across and got to level 15 with only level 26 in my crafting (I need 50?)

Tomorrow I shall be getting home from work and installing. Well, later today, technically. I'm being a Sylvari... either thief or engineer. Leaning towards engineer.

I'm on whichever server my IRL friends drag me onto, sorry. Though I'm not sure they've decided yet, so I may suggest that.

I would like to remind folks again that even if we're not on the same servers we can still communicate and eventually guest on other servers.

And DO NOT guest on servers RIGHT NOW! There's a bug that locks you out the game until support bothers to fix it for you.

Playing an engineer (parallel to my ranged warrior and Aeryomancer) and I really like the concept of "Hold your Ground" support.
I still have yet plucked up the enthusiasm to play my Necromancer. I only made her to reserve the EPIC name Reaping Willow.

=P
My engineer is named Kronos Inferno after my Fire Elementalist. The RP reasoning is that he's a modern pyromancer; he'll be using a flamefuckingthrower. He's also questing in the Asura lands (he's human) to er, learn from the best?

Forest Skysail is my Sylvari. I then found out that my friend isn't getting the game till Friday and she wanted to play through the Sylvari stuff together.
So I'm trying to create a human.
All I'm getting is the "unable to access the login server" message.
Not happy.

I think I can cut them a little slack now considering ... http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/08/28/guild-wars-2-hits-400k-concurrent-users-before-launch/

Well 28th is the official launch day along with us 3 day headstarters, so the servers are OVERLOADED!
Worst part is, ArenaNet TOOK DOWN servers thinking they wouldn't need them BASED ON EXCLUSIVE STRESS TESTS!
