TRY THAT FUCKING SHIT AS A NORN! Fucking camera angles going APESHIT!

I am a Norn. I get stressed when I have restrictive view in games. Like Dark environments or right camera angles so it is hell.

Fenrir wrote:....Surely you'd have to had enjoyed him to a degree if he's level 80? o_O And yeah, this is what happens when we do a dungeon with just the three of us....

I enjoyed exploring the world. I enjoyed how newb-friendly the class was.
I enjoyed wearing skimpy armour on him to troll Homophobic players or young players who are insecure about their sexuality and result to finding my armour disgusting.
I enjoyed bringing sexual equality to the game in a small amount by making a statement by dressing up as a typical fantasy female character.
The class is a little shallow Ultimately.
Bow & Banners will be fun for WvW but that's it. At least I have a character to WvW with now.

I am only going to say: Malchor's Leap jump puzzle as a Norn. I've booked a flight to punch the guy responsible in the teeth.

There's one in the south of a Norn zone (40-50) with lots of Dredge with a lot of Trick-jumps where you jump round corners (why?) with amazing zoom-in-camera action as a Norn.

Try doing jumping puzzles as a Charr. You run on all fours so good luck guessing how far you have to jump to make it to that tiny wooden plank sticking out of the wall. :P

Trying to do jump puzzles as an Asura is amusing....

I am actually annoyed at WvW being a requirement for 100% world exploration. Simply because I now have to depend on my server not being bad.

In fact, I am going to put my entire thought process about it here. A rough copy before I put it on the official forums anyway.

There is no reason for WvW to be included in world exploration for the Been There, Done That. Dungeons aren't included, so why would that be? Yet both have a common link: They both depend on real people co-ordinating as one to achieve a goal. This creates a problem for EVERYONE in WvW. Explorers and competitors.

The explorers contribute little while exploring. While a siege is being held on a keep, people are at the far corners after the skill points and the vistas across all four battlegrounds. This also means that people are in the battlegrounds trying for 100% and people that actively want to play are being held in a queue waiting for them to finish. So land is being conquered, battlegrounds actually recede at times and it's a very frustrating experience for everyone involved.

I believe that the world exploration should only consist of the actual world and people shouldn't be forced into WvW battlegrounds that a single person has no control over. These are also one of the reasons why people are transferring servers. Simply to be on a winning side so they can get that vista that they need rather than wait weeks to achieve it.

A less sever aspect is that being ganked when trying to reach a vista reminds me of being ganked in wow when doing something difficult. There is no need to have to do it to 100% explore. Only if you're sick and twisted.

Funny story. I just googled "WvW for 100% exploration" and this is one of the top results.

Tangent, the top 3 results for scw55 is:

Funny how an ID I was forced to have on Neopets is now part of my empire.

I learnt last night that Guardian Staff's 2nd ability has a 4 second cooldown if you don't detonate. And it still does damage. I feel like an idiot. And now I love Guardian Staff even more.

It's annoying charging up my heal and my allies run away from me. So it's just me with 12 stacks of might...

I can see why they included WvW in the world completion but I wish they hadn't, I am very much a PvE player and have no desire to take part in any PvP whatsoever, however I am also a completionist.

I am going to end up taking a WvW slot to run around dying and trying to get the map completion all the while screwing over the people that actually enjoy PvP by doing this as they are down a player. I don't think it's just me either, I think plenty of people will do this and I imagine quite a few players will camp the POEs etc. just to take out people like me and drive up their score.

Arenanet - sort this out, you are driving a wedge into the already existing hostilities between PvE only players and PvP players. Perhaps an explorable mode ala dungeons? Ok so it couldn't be quite the same but something guys, something.

Huh. I wasn't actually aware that the WvW zones counted toward the world completion scores. But then in my mind I don't really consider it part of the world since it's technically supposed to be in the Mists..... */nerd moment*

That being said, Dibria's right - this won't help the PvE only & sPvPer relations one bit. Though it does mean I have reason to actually give WvW a proper try now...

*sigh* ...Bots.

Anyone else getting frustrated by them? I've seen the odd one or two previously, been confused by a naked player until I spotted their name was something like 'ffggffffg', or seen two or three players acting exactly the same way as they run through an area.

But lately? A couple of days ago a large party ran past me with over half it's members naked and all of them identicle human characters. Earlier today I could not complete a heart because an army of identicle human rangers with brown bear pets were slaughtering everything that moved in the area. Moving to the other side of the same map to wait for them to finish and... An army of Asura are killing everything that moves around a heart.

Dear Arenanet, sort this out, they are proving to be a serious detriment to my enjoyment of the game, and judging by the chat box many others as well. I have seen bottling in other games as well, in FFXIV spotting armies of Lallafell was quite common for a while, but never in the quantiies and densities I am currently seeing in Guild Wars 2.

Is it just me? Do I just have terrible luck? Is it just my server?

Frostgorge is bot haven. The only part that bothers me is that they're hacked accounts.

I also came up with a brilliant idea today. Have weapons break like armour does! Naked bots can still shoot their rifles and bows with no risks to themselves. Having weapons break too will stop them being able to do anything.

I actually hadn't seen all that many until recently. It's kinda worrying that so many are coming out of the wood work now. o_O Hopefully it'll get sorted soon otherwise I may have to consider the server move again.

I did AC explorable for money/exploration/achievement. I did it enough times for 300 tokens and I realised there is utter SHIT in there. I will most likely never use them.

But it did get me the abyss dye so my elementalist looks like his GW1 counter-part.

I bought a second abyssal dye for my thief. No idea what it is but SOMETHING makes me want to play a thief lately and just go in full berserker's gear to see the numbers.

I heard a thief has many damage mitigations and stealths and they're the kind of class that if they get hit, their toughness and vitality won't make a difference anyway, so embrace the damage. And I want to toy with that.

Thieves embodies the unique selling point of Guild Wars 2's combat system. You have to keep moving to stay alive and there are a lot of abilities that utilises movement. I'd imagine they're very fun when you're comfortable with the game but not the class to play if you want faceroll destroy things.

You can stand stabbystab stab behind a big burly enemy, but the enemy can turn around and 1 shot you.

I recommend Dagger/Dagger for primary and group events and Pistol/Pistol when you really have to range.
