Everytime I see this thread I'm very tempted, but I'd hate to be "that douche who stopped playing after the 2nd night". I just don't know if I'm active enough.

Also, I've never played mafia, only werewolves.

My understanding is that they are just different themes for the same game, and we have used all kinds of crazy themes here in the past.

Also, if you stop playing, we'll just lynch you off when we get stuck, as we inevitably do. With no other leads, it is the best option for the town, for reasons that I'm sure I'll be expounding on during the game proper.

A quick but important question. When the people who vote no lynch vote, are they voting for not having a lynch or are they just not going to be part of the lynching? I ask because, if I remember correctly, my head might be on the chopping block if there has to be a lynching. If it's not forced, then I think the majority votes are currently for no lynch if I'm not mistaken.

As I said, mostly just asking because I don't want to get murdered without knowing before-hand. ^^;

I was under the impression "No lynch" would be a vote that nobody got lynched, rather than just no preference. I could be wrong about that however.

No-lynch is exactly the same as not voting at all, except that if a majority of people say it, Octopimposter can end the day early. A lynch will only occur when 1/2+1 people vote for a specific person.
