I figured as much, since I couldn't find you on NA.

Just restart on NA, since you said you were only like lvl 4.

We're spread out.
Auber plays anywhere between midnight and 8am my time, IX plays from about 3pm to 7pm my time, and I play straight up anytime because of how out of whack my sleeping is lately.

I'll research switching accounts and befriend you and see what happens. Thou since HoN is adding a new hero today, I might be occupied with getting my money's worth.

I have yet found a champion that excites me to play it sadly. Vayne is fun but you can't use tumble to dodge aimed attacks. Disjointing is rheally phun and you can't; only skillshots. The friend list seems bugged. I've added all the names stated in this thread and 65% of them have mysteriously vanished.

It does that when you log off. I added everyone on this list and either they were online and denied it at the time, or they didn't log on and accept before I logged out. I get the feeling the fastest way to get a LRR lol group happening would be a Reddit style "When this post is X hours old, everyone be online!"

Except that right now it's 12:30am for me, and probably like, 4am for Fayili and IX and like, 9pm for auber or something.

In my last two matches, both playing as Sona, I've gone 6/1/15 and 11/3/20.

I like this Champion. I like her very much.

I've very good with Ryze. In honesty, it's hard to fail with Ryze if you immediately notice that his snare starts with a pitiful 0.75 duration and grows. And that the bouncy ball of doom does more damage than his single target nuke.

He's a hero which you shouldn't worry about KS as you will KS even when you're trying not to.

He seems like a carry version of HoN's Thunderbringer. Ryze has supirior disable and scales with his mana. Thunderbringer has Supiror AoE and his Ult will hit all enemy heroes and scales with enemy's health. Also reveals invisable objects in an AOE when he single target nukes.

There's a lot of LoL heroes that look very close to DotA heroes or a Smash-up of them.

Ryze is okay, but I feel like his ult is a bit lacking.

His "bouncy ball" doesn't do more single-target damage though, does it? Plus its c/d is so high... I mostly use it with his passive to help reduce the c/d on his Q so I can spam it in a fight.

Bouncy ball does AoE damage. You can also cast it on creep waves and hope it bounces on the enemy, if the enemy is retreating and you can't reach.

I suppose I come from a HoN back-ground where AoE Presence is valued highly.

His bouncy ball is good when you ult it in a team fight, but in general, I prefer other AP carries.

My favorite characters are:
AP: Lux, Swain, Xerath, Viktor

Tank/Support: Singed, Karma, Alistar, Sona, Shen

AD Top: Yorick, Wukong, Jax

AD Carry: Vayne, Caitlyn

Jungle: Olaf, Nocturne, Shen

I've also really been enjoying Zyra, and would probably include her in my AP list.

I love Swain. So much. Don't care what anyone else thinks. D: He is my favourite.

I play:

AP: Swain, Morgana, Orianna

Top: Renekton, Nidalee

AD Carry: Caitlyn, Vayne, Tristana

Tank: Rammus, Amumu

Pissing Around: Shyvana

These aren't all the best champs for their respective roles but dammit they're fun.

I don't jungle yet and I mostly play normal blind pick so there's rarely a support, but I enjoy Sona, even though everyone hates her lately.

I'm trying to learn how to jungle, but it's hard, especially since I'm never on Vent with anyone because I play during the day lately.

At the point I'm at, I'll probably just play free Champs mostly and get more experience and see where it takes me. Besides, GW2 is almost here and I'll be playing lots of sPvP hopefully, so LoL will just be for when I'm bored of that.

I'd recommend looking up some jungle guides and just practicing your jungle path vs. beginner bots. Once you feel like you have it down, try it vs. people. Also, runes and masteries are super important for jungling, so make sure you have them.

Also, I'd recommend not getting any runes until you unlock tier 3 runes (level 20), because getting runes earlier is a waste of IP in the end.

I enjoy Jungling in DotA/HoN so much. I hope to learn it eventually. I enjoy being left alone doing my own thing. But I gather the jungler in LoL is a lot more roamy than the Junglers in HoN/DotA who only gank when the stars align or their Ult is off CD.
----
Lost a game due to two smurfs throwing.
One was Warwik and the other Garen. I was Varus.
Apparently I "let them die" because they died near me and all I could do was auto attack and snare.
They then let me die many times as pay back because...? Hypocrisy.

It's good to be assured there's arse holes in LoL like there are in HoN. I really wish I was a real life Wizard so I could actually harm these types of people in real-life whilst in the comfort of my own home.
---
Got invited to a level 30 All Random game. I was then banned when they realised I was level 6. People are NICE in LoL. So many people will be banned by my hand due to afking/leaving/feeding on purpose/general griefing. It's like people don't care for their accounts.
---
Sona is fun. But her movement haste is very underwhelming at low levels but is very nice to skill up. It's at the expense of early game damage and healing... LoL has that issue with having rubbish skills that get better as you skill them. Opposed to HoN/DotA where they either stay rubbish or you can get away with 1 rank in them.

You were actually banned? Or just reported? Because reporting rarely amounts to anything, and when it's reviewed, they'll just see that you're 6, and be like "Oh, he's just level 6"

Also, Sona's movespeed buff is still good at low levels. Even the slightest move speed buff is actually a pretty big advantage.

I was 'banned' from the public game which I was invited to.

The player-base of LoL I would say is worse than HoN's. I am the only sincerely new player in every game I play. And people expect me to know what I am doing.

In HoN players have accepted that 'retards' exist in the starter rating bracket. They are as whiney but they don't expect 'big-plays'.

But yeah, where I clash horns with smurfs in scenarios where from my PoV I know I cannot do anything without me dying myself. They could be right and I could be ignorant, but I will never know as it's two opinions conflicting. I don't know the game well enough to make an informed judgement, I have to rely on my previous experiences of another game. There is big danger in taking the word of another player as gospel without enough evidence to make an informed opinion. I don't want to develop bad habits because of nativity. I want to be coached by someone but everyone who has tried so far believes that coaching consists of pinging with various ways on the minimap, telling me when to B or telling me why I failed post-game instead of giving me advice when it mattered and I could practise it. If I wanted to be lectured I'd watch videos or spectate matches. I want to be coached.

I honestly feel like HoN has the worst community, from my experience, in terms of standalone mobas, followed by Dota 2, and LoL has had the best.

Still, old school WC3 Dota easily takes the cake for rude players.
