It isn't secretly the first Macgyver episode isn't it? This scene really triggers that feel in me.

Nope, and nope - it IS a film, and the Great Waldo Pepper is a reasonably good guess!

Here's another one pic that barely manages to avoid showing the two lead actors (which would probably be a total giveaway):

After this, I'll have to start giving hints with the one or two pics I've got left (and then, as a last resort, post one of the leads).

Noo...not quite that old. I'm pretty pleased that everyone's bracketing the era of the film pretty well, though. :D

I've been wracking my brains, from the look of it, its some World War 1 era movie made in the 70s

Okay, time for some hints:

It was made in the 80's, and set in the post-Great War 20's.

The actors look almost recognizable, but I'm fairly certain I've never seen this movie. It's probably not Quigley Down Under.

I THINK that's Brian Blessed in the last pic. Sifting through his '80s filmography I found a likely candidate in High Road to China, simply because there're biplanes in the poster. But I have NOT seen that movie and I'm still not sure that's Blessed.

Nah, the red baron had a triplane, not a biplane.

And it DOES look rather like Brian

DING! And I never had to resort to any of the HUNDREDS of screen caps with Tom Selleck or Beth Armstrong in them! :D

And yeah, that's BRIAN BLESSED all right.

(fun fact: the first pic I threw up was on Tim Carlton...who, when he was younger - really resembles his 'it guy' son, Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch. :) )

Well researched, Bebop Man; you're up!

I've watched a bunch of horror movies during the 90s and have no recollection of this scene. Is it a movie we aren't likely to have seen because it was really bad? But was it so-bad-its-good or so-bad-its-unwatchable?

The movie is plain awful - so awful the director utlimately refused to take credit for it. Anyways, here's screenshot #2:
