Neither of those.

No, but identity is a prominent theme of the film.

Are you just listing films with John Cusack on purpose?

Hint: John Cusack, while a favorite actor of mine, was not in this film.

Yes, but that's not the answer.

(No, it is not Wizard Chat.)

No, no. :)

OK, just a screenshot I found online this time. So yes, you COULD trace the URL to probably figure it out. (Actually, the URL alone gives it away.) It's up to your honor not to.

Okay, THAT really looks familiar! My first instinct is to say "Twin Peaks", but...that had a red curtain, not brown (maybe my subconscious is seeing the red from the mahogany desk and 'bleeding it into the curtains'?)

Screw it, to at least get the ball rolling:

Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me

Godfather 3?

So we're still talking David Lynch then, right? (go me!)

...unless you mean King Kong? ;)

Lord Hosk is right. :) But nobody has named it yet...

LogicSword I am pretty sure you are right.

Yep; I'm gonna assume Jack's busy, but what he hinted at is correct - the URL of that pic confirms LogicSword's guess as correct.

(hint for playing games like these: there are plenty of free imagehosting sites out there; just save the pic to a 'temp' folder that you wipe daily, RENAME the file, and then upload it to whatever site you find suits you best; I tend to use Photobucket, but if it happens to be slow, I'll just throw a cap up on my tumblr feed...which likely makes my follower quirk an eyebrow at an inexplicable game/movie screen cap sandwiched between funny image macros, cute animal pics, and angry political rants. ^_^ )

Logicsword is correct: My favourite David Lynch film.

Yeah, but even then, Google Image search could have found it. I prefer to go for the honor system. :)

Also, I considered a more misleading first image (see: Cowboys) but instead decided to go with the obscure but highly important blue key.
