Exiled Mafia - Day 9 - 'Town' wins!

DrDiggit42 noticed his stomach growling. "I'm a bit peckish. Is anyone else hungry? I'm sure there's a kitchen somewhere in this house." DrDiggit42 left the room in search of a kitchen.

Diggit would be able ot find the kitchen with little trouble. The clean kitchen seemed to have never been used, looking like it had simply been pulled from the pages of a magazine. Tile floors and wooden cabniets gave the room a distinctive look. Various forms of cutlury lay strewed along the counters with various foods sitting out. A rather large fridge held various meats and fruits. Many seemed alien to each member of the group, offering new tastes and experiences.

Overall it was a very nice place for a deathtrap.

(This sounds better than just saying he finds a kitchen with how things are going. )

We cannot presume to know why this would happen. There is a kitchen, but is there appropriate food for all of us? We all come from different backgrounds... Whoever locked us here is twisted. More twisted than the killers in the game.

Is there any cat food?

I suppose a medium-rare steak and a nice red wine isn't going to happen? Oh well, at least we are spared the indignity of starving to death

How do we know those who trapped us here aren't the killers? This is a truly sadistic "game".

Exactly. On the one hand, perhaps abstaining from the game is the best choice. Does partaking in the game make us no better than those who started this? Than the killers?

On the other hand... How are we going to get out if we don't play by the rules?

I would be very happy to just sit here and eat oglhhtus, but I have a feeling we won't be that lucky.

I'm with Duckay. I advocate a strategy of no votes throughout the game, acknowledging that we will be killed one by one until all of us are dead but the killers. We may die, but we'll die with our heads held high and noble, refusing to partake of this twisted 'sport'.

Wait, who'd take care of the Commodore then?

I change my mind. Let's hunt these sadistic bastards down.

I think it would be unwise to argue with someone who can seemingly teleport people at will, but also has access to disintergration technology.

Also, what colour is The Commodore?

Why, he is a charming tortoiseshell.

Male tortoiseshells are very rare, actually!

(OOC: I didn't know that, or I'd not have made the Commodore a he and a tortoiseshell, but I'm running with it now.)

She runs off to pet The Commodore. Mog gives a little sigh and follows significantly less excited.

The Commodore grumbles at the attention, but does not seem overly displeased.

"Ignore his little moods," says Jack Slack. "He is quite the little curmudgeon, but overall a loving cat." He beams at the attention Eiko places upon his beloved cat.

(I'm not really advocating that. I just think it needed saying, how twisted this is.)

I wish we were in a position to bargain with the system. But I think the only way out is to play by the rules of the game and hope we can take down the killers before the killers take us.

Jack Slack pets the Commodore, and glances nervously at the disintegration chamber. "I don't really want to be the person to broach the subject, but it feels we really have to start somewhere... how do we go about this?"

i'd go for steak and red wine, and maybe some dauphinoise potatoes. Anyone know who to cook?

Well, I do. But I'm vegetarian. Eggplant parmigiana?

A large figure strides into the kitchen from the entrance chamber, where he had been standing quietly. He spies the food, and proceeds to cook himself a rare steak, which he then wolfs down quickly. He turns to look at the group. "Sorry about that, but I was famished. We can't help how we're made can we?"

[Duckay]

Duckay clearly bristles at this, as much as can be told from under the cloak, which she clutches around her like a barrier from the others. "I'm not sure I can trust a man who would cook himself a steak and not offer others any. What have you to say for yourself?"

[Master Gunner]

All you people be crazy.

[Preacher]

Prehaps that's why we're here, remove those with mental problems from soceity and force them to play a deranged game for the entertainment of the masses. Actually that seems like the plot to a 90's movie
