There's a few possibilities. Perhaps there are no additional night kill abilities, or perhaps there are but they all targeted Memo for some reason.

Well, this is an... ENTIRELY NORMAL game, but that doesn't always mean there are extra killing roles.
Now really... Did you not pay attention to what happened to Ptangmatik? Talking like that can get a guy lynched around here.
But not by me.

Also possible. I lean towards no other killing roles, though. I can't be sure, of course, but I feel like more would have been excessive.

Why Memo? Seriously, he basically just followed the lead on Ptangmatik. So... maybe a distancing strategy? Or did they suspect he had a role?

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
Yeah, I don't think he did anything yesterday to draw the mafia's attention. In fact, he unintentionally helped their cause by supporting the lynch of a Townie.
If I was a suspicious, paranoid bastard, I might think that there are indeed several wrong 'uns among those who voted for Ptangmatik yesterday and they deliberately avoided killing anyone who called them on their bullshit in the hope we'd forget about them and look elsewhere. If Tapir or I had died then everyone would be suspicious of those we distrusted; by targeting someone who voted for Ptangmatik straight away and didn't suspect anyone else, the mafia may have been hoping to deprive us of further clues.
Of course, if I was a suspicious, paranoid bastard, this would have the unfortunate effect of making me even more suspicious.

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
OK, that sounds like as plausible a theory as I can come up with, personally. So, Elvor was the first to jump, and Duckay leapt on second. Standardly, it's the SECOND one you look at: Nobody wants to be first, because it attracts suspicion, but you leap like a crazy man on it the moment it's an option.
So, Duckay. What were you doing last night?

I was going to say, clearly the killer or killers had clothes. So that's a starting point.

I typically wear a shirt and underpants. Sometimes pyjama pants or a longer-sleeved top depending on factors like how cold it is and if we have guests/what guests we have.

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
From the lynch bandwagon: Duckay seems to me to be the most suspicious on the list. Very quick to jump on board... but I can't help but notice that Memo was high on that list too and he was town.
I'm usually more suspicious of the No-Lynchers though. That always helps the bad guys more.

Unless people are already on board with lynching someone they know isn't mafia, in which case, that's one less person to kill, might as well support it.

I'm not getting any bad vibes from Duckay this time around. Take that as you will.

I'm inclined to agree with Heph, I think people seem to be jumping at Duckay for no real reason other than somebody saying "Hey guys, Duckay."

I gave my reasons, Volafortis. You can't keep saying "There's no evidence to go on!" and ignoring all the discussions and arguments the rest of us are having.
I suspect some of the people on my list are mafia. Unless some other evidence comes along, it seems logical to me to start testing my suspicions, which I can only do by lynching them, or at least accusing them and seeing how they react. elvor started the voting yesterday but then gave a reason for his actions and backed off. Duckay was the next person on the list and didn't give as much of a justification, so I voted for her.
I already "distanced myself" from them yesterday by shouting "YOU! I FIND YOUR ACTIONS EXTREMELY WORRYING!" in a nice clear voice. I was expecting more of a backlash about that, and the scarcity of counter-accusations or protestations of innocence is what makes me think that I'm right. It's not so much that I was getting bad vibes off Duckay, or anyone else on the list, I just wasn't getting much of a reaction at all. Innocents tend to get more worked up about the fact that I can't tell they're clearly innocent.

Although so do good mafia players, a problem confounded by this being text and not spoken. It's difficult to gauge intent. I'm still suspicious of you Thrash but for the moment I want to know what Volafortis was doing last night...

Agreed, good mafia players do tend to be skilled at acting the part of injured innocence. But it's the lack of that kind of behaviour I'm talking about here. Which is... odd.
