Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
(I had edited my earlier post with the following, so reposting since I got distracted and Preacher ninja'd me)
Reality, though, there's more killers than just Jack out there, even if there isn't a clear "mafia". Certainly possible that more than one person targeted Memo last night, or that we have a doctor or roleblocker around (and I'm not convinced at this point that the groups lack a power-player in their ranks, but they're smart to keep it quiet for now). Only other thing that would make sense is if there are actually more varied win conditions out there than just "be the last group(s) standing".

Since there is no competition between the teams and we have an admission of being a threat...

That's a shock. Edit: Hey, Preacher distrusts me. That's new.
As for why I killed Memo? Because there was my night action, and he drew my suspicions most.
Look, something's up. Why? Because if there's 8 people in conspiracies, and maybe 4 mafia, that leaves only two non-conspirators, one of whom is me, the serial killer. (Flat out admitting it.) So here's the question: How the heck can you guys lose this? Bring out all your conspirators and just start eliminating the remainders, and you win.
Unless something else is going on. There is no way it's that simple. We're missing something.

You're almost certainly right, but with all of these unknown factors, I don't think letting a known killer remain among us is a wise decision. Less deaths means more time to figure out what's going on, and the risk of you being manipulated by whoever is the villain here (if there is anyone) is too great.

We are most certainly being fucked with i terms of general game mechanics, and we need time to think. A serial killer prevents this. The serial killer only wins if he's the last man standing, so his goals are certainly NOT town aligned.

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
He didn't actual say serial killer, he said he was a vigilante, which usually means town alignment, but still doesn't mean he knows anything more than a serial killer would about his targets.
Actually, Jack, you mentioned that you're more of a "contract killer". Care to elabourate?

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
No no, Jam, I said serial killer later. Got my terms mixed up.
Yes, I'm the serial killer. I'd lynch me too. That said? Know that doing so is definitely pressing the advantage of someone here. If I'm the only threat, and I suspect I am, then this is now all going to come down to numbers, and Aeric's gang has the edge early thanks to me.
I think it's in the town's best interests to lynch me, make no mistake. But as I said earlier: I don't think it's in your interests to lynch me YET.

Re: BASTARD mafia Day Two
Also, if you do lynch me, and IF the two other conspiracies are being honest? Then all they need to do to win is list their members and lynch a non-conspirator once a day.
That sound too easy to you?
Does to me too.

I can't trust yet that everyone who has come forward about their motives is honest, but I think lynching Jack is our best move.

Well now... isn't that interesting.
The only way to win is to kill iamafish?
I'm not sure how wise it is to let Jack dictate the game like this. I still don't think we've worked out exactly what's going on here, and even if he's telling the truth about what he thinks is going on, it's only guesswork. That said, killing him right away is going to make things interesting no matter what. I'm going to stand back here while you guys lynch him, though, juuuuuust in case.

Um... You killed one of them? So any advantage they have probably isn't down to your assistance?

I killed Memo. As he was one of the conspirators, I've provided unintentional support to the other side.

The town drag JackSlack to the lynching tree and sting him up.
He dies.
As he has already told you, he is a
Serial Killer
ALL THREATS TO THE TOWN HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED. AN ALTERNATE WIN CONDITION HAS BEEN ACTIVATED. (this is not lynching the GM you monsters!)
Night falls.
Night two begins now, get your night actions in to me soon

Day three begins now.
With 11 players alive, it takes 6 votes to cause a lynch
