It's all in the Pressure... Plate or Sign

Postby Omega696 » 03 Mar 2014, 05:32

Quick question for the more experienced Minecrafters.
I'm building a modern looking building in quartz, glass, glow stone and lapis, I want to use a stepped water ... ladder? to get up and down, are Signs and pressure plates the only thing that can stop water flowing from an open block? It's just against the modern looking building materials the signs stand out like a store thumb.

... What do you mean I can't... Oh right MTG...

Fine, in that case, I tap my Mana... Royal Flush!

And ladders. Pretty much everything other than torches will stop the flow of water.
