Backlighting a GBA: GB, GBC, & GBA game suggestions?

Postby Delanofilms » 20 Mar 2015, 18:52

So I decided to backlight an original GBA. Taking the screen from the 2nd gen GBA SP and putting it in a glorious purple GBA with an adapter. All the beauty of the super bright SP+ screen, the form factor of the original GBA, and a real 3.5mm headphone jack.

I now need to fill out my library over the spring and summer. Aside from the obvious Pokemon, Mario, and Zelda, what games would you recommend?

Mario Kart, and I liked the dragonball z games but I'm not sure if they are good objectively.

My recommendations for games would be...
* Kid Icarus: Of Myth & Monsters (GBY)
* Metroid II: Return of Samus (GBY)
* Dragon Warrior I & II (GBC)
* Dragon Warrior III (GBC)
* Final Fantasy Legends series (GBY)
* River City Ransom EX (GBA)
* Final Fantasy Advance series (GBA)
* Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA)
* Breath of Fire / II (GBA)
* Sword of Mana (GBA)
* Klonoa series (GBA)
* Alien Hominid (GBA) -- NOTE: European Import

Hope this helps!

Wariolands were good. I prefer them to Mario personally.

Pokemon Trading Card Game was enjoyable.

But since you have the online version now, it's kinda obsolete. Unless you want to play it vanilla.
